I sent mine 6 months before the date of wedding and for the rsvp two months before so you have time to chase people who not responded and then you can sort your table plan out etc x

I sent mine yesterday and wedding is April. I've asked for RSVP back in 3 weeks. So people don't forget to do it and file them away. My wedding planner said to do it that way...Plus I'm not chasing anyone for replies. No reply no seat... simple as that x

I get married in June next year but have already given mine out. I have lots of family abroad & save the dates are just an added expense! Plus it's easier to get numbers confirmed for caterers etc! Xx

Hi I am going to send mine about 8-6 months before the wedding :)

The traditional way is 6 weeks before however I know lots of venues want confirmation of numbers and meal choices etc few weeks prior. We are sending ours last weekend in July with rsvp for September and leaves time to confirm for venue x
