When is the best time to send out invitations my wedding is August next year

Most people go with 3-6 months before the wedding but my venue needs final numbers by January my wedding is in July next year so we are sending them October time so they have plenty of time to get back to us x

I personally think for an August wedding I'd be doing it around Dec-Jan. I think a lot of people book their holidays around then for the following year, I certainly know we do at work x

We are getting married next august. We are sending out save the dates in the next few weeks as we know a lot of people book holidays straight after their summer hols ready for the next year. And going to send out the invites about january/febuary time. X

It depends if you are sending save the dates. If you are then 3-6 months in advance. If not then probably a bit earlier x

Thank you lady's :) that's a big help also what date would you put down for r.s.v.p to be back by? We are having 3 course wedding breakfast so will be sending menus out with the invites.,My friend said month before and my cousin said 2 weeks before, I don't know what's best I was thinking month before but my cousin said its normally 2 weeks notice but I will need more than that has have so much to sort out.,we are getting married on the 18th xx

Its 2 weeks notice for the venue finalisation not invites. We will be putting rsvp by june 20th on ours. Plenty of notice for us to get all final numbers, there will always be a few that either forget or are late to rsvp. Our wedding is aug 3rd so you could do beginning of july instead.x
