Some give you little samples of your lipstick for example, my sister who is a professional mua does this along with a sample pot of the foundation/powder etc and a mini brush. Others will tell you st the trial the products they used so you can buy the powder compact/lipstick x

You shouldn't have to. All that will need touching up is your lip gloss. A good make up artists work should stay put for hours. I've woken up the next day with perfect make up still x

I bought my own lipstick, but everything else was from my MUA, and didn't need any touch ups at all! Didn't even reapply my lippy as it was a 24hr one, which I still wear

I bought my own lip gloss and got the make up artist to use it and then I just touched it up throughout the day. The rest of my make up lasted all day.

It should last (other than lipgloss) so fingers crossed you won't need to touch up x

I bought the same lipstick as the one my MUA used but that's it. No touch ups needed at all throughout the day and I had it done at 10am and took it all off at 1:30am and we got married in 28 degrees!

Just be mindful if you're having a receiving line... people don't tend to just go cheek to cheek, They kiss your cheek and then it rubs off a little bit. I am glad mine was touched up, even using mac products.

I got married 3 weeks ago, I had my makeup air brushed and it lasted all day, i brought my lipstick so I had it if that needed touching up, but because it was a 24hr one it also stayed put. It was 32 degrees the day I got married too! Xx

I never needed to touch up at all apart from my lip gloss so it should last if it's been done well.

I only had to touch up my lipstick and my MUA put some of it in a pot for me

I had my makeup done and it did last all day. If I was worried about swearing through it or it starting to look shiney towards the end of the day so I asked my MUA to recommend a good translucent powder just to hide the shine. Other than that. Everything stayed on perfectly xx

Mine lasted but you can buy the brand they use or if it's the same colour just use what you already have! I only topped up my lip gloss for the evening x

If it's a good make up artist you shouldn't have to touch it up. I had my trial a few weeks back granted it was at 6pm but I kept it on all night and while I slept and it was still in place the morning after. X

Shouldn't need touch ups apart from a bit of lippy if you use a good MUA :-) X

You shouldn't need to but there is always the sprays that keep it in place - or hairspray!

Hi I got married. At the end off May this year it was very warm. My make up lady did a really good job. When she had finished she. Sprayed. Me with some mist then the lip gloss she applied I got given that through the price I paid. So I just touched up my lips the rest stayed all night.

A lot of make up artists give u a little gift bag with the lipstick in & a couple of little bits to help you touch up your make up should you need to x

Professional make up lasts for ages, so you shouldn't have to touch up. Mine survived a whole day/night in Vegas in July and I had spray makeup. For my dad's wedding in November the makeup lasted all day too.

I give my brides a little pot of lipstick and some blotting sheets to keep them looking just made up throughout the day. They only normally need the lipstick though :)

It shpuldn't need topping up. It was 28 degrees on our wedding day and my make up lasted all day. My make up artist also gave me an invisible powder to top up on to take away any shine from my face.

Make up artist tend to use make up that lasts all day. Only thing we made sure was our own was the lipstick or lipgloss that is used as that will need touching up. My make up was near perfect the next day as well as i was to tired to take it off before bed x

If it's a good make up artist who uses quality products you should only need to touch up your lipstick x
