Anybody Else got a spreadsheet?? I usually hate excel... I'm currently in Excel/OCD/planning heaven!
Mine was all excel! Helped me keep track!!! Xxx
Haha yay its not just me! We saw the manager at our venue to confirm numbers etc last night and he commented how easy it was, due to me being so organised with my printed off spreadsheets
Excel was a lifesaver! Colour codes, different excel sheets for gathering my quotes... still have it on the computer as it's a bit of a work of art to be honest! x
My whole wedding was recorded on a spreadsheet. It was my wedding bible!
Formulated, colour coded, with full budget break down & budget break down as per individual supplier, deposits, t&cs of venue ect
I have several..budget, guest list,address book..
Yep, and print outs and a mood board
Me too got 4 on the go for different things. I'm only in the really early stages of the planning so can imagine it's only got to get bigger! X
We downloaded an excel budget planner. And then have a paper folder for keeping everything in and a book to keep track of everything.
Yep! One for bookings and payments so we know what we owe and when, one for guest list and seating plan and one for music choices! Lol
Yep formulated colour coded includes estimate, actual, paid, to pay, gifted, saving. It's filling up nicely. Well on track feels good keeping to a budget, very satisfying
excel made our seating plan so easy :) only spreadsheet i used x
Yes! The venue loved all my spreadsheets and word documents as well - saved them so much time as they would normally be creating guest lists/food choices and table plans themselves!!
I do have a bit of ocd so I couldn't not give them lists and instructions, would have worried me that I wasn't clear enough with my requests otherwise
Yep I had one too
mee
Yeah we have
My htb loves his spreadsheets, he's in his element wedding planning with about three spreadsheets on the go xxx
Yes we are using spreadsheets for different thing too! So useful and handy! :)
My entire wedding is a spreadsheet haha. Budget tab 1, payment tracker tab 2, questions/queries tab 3, guest list daytime tab 4, guest list evening tab 5, gifts/thank you's tab 6!! Haha
I'd be lost without my spreadsheet. Everyone laughs when I tell them everything is on a spreadsheet BUT I know exactly what everything cost!
With 6 weeks to go we love excel, it's been my daughter's passion in her role as wedding planner woe betide anyone who doesn't reply or forward information! My love is good old fashioned lists, in the past two years I've written so many I'm now on a list for the list for the list for the list- heaven
I've got one hell of a spreadsheet that's all linked across several worksheets with formulas so if I update my guest list numbers it works out invites, wine by the bottle, table numbers, centrepieces needed etc. I'm in ocd excel heaven too x I love to be prepared x
Yea I have a massive spreadsheet with ideas and money and invites x
Absolutely couldn't have imagined doing it without one. I have ocd too all mines is colour coded
Mine is amazing. It's formulated so when I get peoples menu choices it creates their name card with their choice on it. No mistakes on the day
I never thought a spreadsheet could make me this happy.
My spreadsheet has seven different pages! I showed my wedding coordinator at my venue and she was so impressed. I keep joking to my fiancé that I'm gonna apply for a wedding planner job and just show them my spreadsheet. I'm so proud of it. It's my baby x
I did that but now my laptop is dead as a dodo!
So many spreadsheets!!
Haha all of your comments have made me smile this morning ☺ we're in very early stages of planning too some of your spreadsheet sound amazing! I'd like mine to update the amount of invites/bottles of wine etc I need! So far I have 5 tabs first one has what's required, supplier, estimated cost, actual cost, deposit required, deposit paid, outstanding balance and supplier contact details. Second has contributions/gifted money and the balance left for us to pay 3rd is room allocation, 4th is day guests and 5th is evening guests! I feel like it can only get bigger haha xx
Yes!!! Multiple tab spreadsheet! Absolute wedding saviour!
I like to have everything down in writing by hand but my h2b has spreadsheets and apps lol
We had one, well I say we :p it was all colour co-ordinated I was in organisation heaven
I wouldn't be with out my excel. Got everything listed budget sheet with estimates what we paid for deposits etc. One for guest list including who's attending ceremony wedding breakfast how many are children meals one for seating plan. One for hotel rooms and lots more. It's a big project. Good luck everyone xx
My spreadsheet was my bible! I also used it for data merging address labels AND as a data source for InDesign to populate guest names and arrival times (day and evening) on my invitations
If anything I've been a bit over organised with using excel... it has absolutely been invaluable to us so far and as we pay more vendors/deposits it will be even more useful to keep track of everything :)
I can't stop adding to mine and tweaking it haha xx
Yes me! me and my h2b have it on google drive so we can both access it and add to it! We have colour coded the things we have paid for, what we have left to pay and our seating plan had been worked out on there ️ i love it!
Most definitely. Couldn't live without it x
I would love to see some of these spreadsheets. as sometimes I over think them and complicate them.
Hell yeah - spreadsheets keep you organised, on track and stress free - or mine is doing that for me anyway x
Lol me too
I have so may tabs on mine! Everything is being planned for! Wedding not until October 2018! X
will see if I can post a picture of mine Claire xx
Ben Robinson oh just wait until we're at this stage 😉 ill be in spreadsheet heaven!!
One of mine haha I don't know what I'd do without it! We did it on google sheets so can update it on the go via the app! Literally everything we need on there. Everything booked so far, what we need to book, things we've done/ need to do, how much things are, deposits paid/when, how much paid and how much remaining and when to be paid by. How much we've paid for things like accessories etc in total, gifts, guest list, table plans, menu choices etc. I lovelovelove it lol
Yes and it has been invaluable in planning and budgeting x
Yep I'm queen of the spreadsheets and lists. My whole wedding was booked and done within a week of being engaged and it was bank holiday! ️
