Has anyone ever done or are doing a DIY photo booth? How are you doing it?

We hired a box of dress up wigs and hats, with a big frame. It was great and was loved by all.

We purchased all the accessories from Ebay, along with disposable cameras and had them at each table. Everyone just took random funny pictures and it worked well for us.

I'm doing my own photobooth, got a Fujifilm Instax wide camera (gumtree £20) loads of inflatable guitars/props from Primark (£1) and loads of cardboard props from Ebay. I'll have them all set out on a table next to the blank guest book and have my nephew manning it so guests can take an instant photo with the camera and stick it in the guestbook along with a message for us, then they can take other photos with their phones/cameras to upload onto social media using our hashtag. Looking at getting a frame too but not got that yet

We did a selfie station - an ipad and a painters easel with some fairylights on it. It was great fun and so easy to put together :)

We have a second hand photo wall brought of ebay, we are using our old phones with selfie sticks. We have alot of fancy dress outfits over the yrs so we are using bits from them then buying some inflatable bits from ebay, its costing less then £50 and we can sell the photo wall on afterwards.

We are going to do a bit of a DIY one with props etc. We didn't want to go sign a full on photo booth as wanted different entertainment but still wanted a light something x

We are planning to and our venue is lending us a coat rail to drape some fabric over, creating an extra wall so we can set up in a corner

We hired one... Was fantastic!!! Easy as pie as they set up and take down and a member of staff helps with the photos. I asked for a copy of every single photo taken so they cut one off each photo for me to keep x brill fun

We're doing a DIY one, as our budget won't stretch to a professional one. We've got a background and props from ebay and we'll set up an email address for guests to send their pictures to. The whole things cost us about £30.

Hi, Having a 'selfie station' at our engagement party on Friday! we ordered all the props off ebay and amazon and then just got a plain white backdrop from a supplier. We are asking guests to upload them to an app called Wedpics or #KnBengagement on Instagram.
