#MEMBERREQUEST- Help! Need advise on flowers please! We get married next month and everywhere I go flowers are so expensive! Is there somewhere I can get some reasonable priced or shall I buy some from a supermarket and do it myself a few days before the big day? Thank you! :)

Hi if you do go to a supermarket go the day before they wilt quite quickly you should have booked flowers months ago though good luck :)

Okay, thank you! :) Yes I did have someone doing my flowers but now I found out they were too expensive in the end.

How much do you have to spend? With it being so close to your wedding day the prices are likely to go up if they can fit you in. If you are on a tight budget you might be best going to a supermarket but like Lucy said do it the day before in case they wilt. x

Hey Lucy, ah nice one! When is your wedding day? :) Naomi, well my budget is around £150, I need 4 bouquets, like 2-3 buttonholes that's it really. Don't think we'll have a top table arrangement. But yeh I like the idea of doing the supermarket :) xx

If you have an aldi close by their flowers are really good and last days, you can make your own and get some ribbon. Then just keep thrm in the fridge for a few days. Thats what i am planning on doing. X

I'm a few years away from my wedding but I've been and got a quote based on what I want. I was really lucky though that the local flower shop who I use a lot is so good and helped me work out good prices. I think you could do it from supermarket flowers but maybe just before. I have to say I've always found flowers from Aldi amazing and mine last about 10 days on the kitchen window sill xx

try silk/artifical flowers! Very reasonable button holes on amazon and I opted for a single rose for the bridesmaids and an artificial bouquet for me!! xx

I am going to a local florist next weekend but I thought 900 was low for flowers but I do have 11 centrepieces 4 bridesmaid bouquets ,1 bridal , 2 baskets of petals and 7 button holes might be worth a try going to a local florist if you don't want many

How much are flowers? I have a very small budget for my flowers lol. I'm thinking of getting fake button holes from hobby craft just to save money.

It does depend on how much knowledge you have on flowers they dont all stay fresh well. What arrangements were you thinking of having? There are plenty of ways to have flowers done professionally but cheaply just need to shop around. Trying to do all the flowers yourself a few days before will be very stressful. Go talk to a florist im sure they can steer you to the right flowers for your budget.
