Wish I had a bigger budget :(
Our budget is only 5000, and so far we are way under. It is doable.x
Hi Melissa my budget is only £5000 I don't know how it will go but hope it will be near that amount. Good luck to you :)
Haha and me. Think it's going to be all about budgeting and doing what I can myself to cut costs x
me too, but don't forget, look for your bargins x
Me too Hun but we love homemade stuff so planning on making a lot. My H2B is really arty which helps us x
Don't we all once you start looking at all the lovely things available, but prioritise what is important to you when budgeting your money x
We have a budget for 10k I don't won't to spend that! Our venue was 5000 that's good drinks and DJ. So we only have flowers and decorations to pay for plus dresses men are all paying for there own suits. Cake is being made buy a friend so will not have to pay to much for it.
Hi I do as there is so much gorgeous wedding items out there and I have gone well over mine
This is probably gonna sound abit snobby but me to my sister is getting married august 2019 I'm getting married July 2018 and my budget is 15000 my sisters is 21000 and I'm so jealous that she's booked violinists and a band and she has a wedding breakfast and customised cocktails . I suppose I have a expensive wedding dress which she doesn't want but still jealous can't help it
It's not about how expensive the wedding cost, you will have the best day no mater how much you pay. Sounds cheeky but we have asked people instead of wedding money/presents can they pay towards the wedding. So my uncle and grandad have paid for our photographers, parents my dress, sister makes up, auntie decorations. You can do it. Don't stress enjoy planning. Xxxx
we all wish we had a massive bucket of cash, but even if you haven't got loads of money you can still make it special to you, make a few things your self I'm pretty proud of myself, I did my own invitations, service booklets, table plan board, flowers button holes I think your own personal touch makes it extra special :) good luck
Some of the best weddings have been done on tight budgets just think wartime 1940s brides! They went home for tea and cake with the new inlaws and sometimes started married living with them to! I ve been paying for mine every month for nearly two years its ben bloody hard sometimes. Weve spent 16,000 and there are loads we are still not having, no posh hotel venue, no fireworks, no sweet carts or photobooths. Be grateful for what you can affordx
