Brides, are you having bags on your wedding day? I'll want some bits to hand (makeup etc) but obviously won't be walking down the aisle with one! Same goes for the maid of honour. Should we just get someone to take our bits down to the venue for us beforehand? Seen some nice bags but don't want to buy one if I won't end up using it at all.
Hi yes my Mum will carry a small bag with my stuff in :)
I'm using a small bag and leaving it in the wedding car for the ceremony with the bridesmaids bags xx
I bought a small cloth dolly bag. Bought a plain ivory one and will add some beads and pearls to make it match my dress x
I had a bag that my step mum carried for me until the reception xxxx
I had a clutch bag somekne looked after until I was married x
My brother gave me away he had my lippy and tissues in his pocket I honestly don't think you need a bag at all.
I left mine and my bridesmaids in my dad's car and got it later on.
I've got a bag but my mum will be carrying it for me for a little while x
I left my bag in our bridesmaids wedding car and then they took it out the car to the reception for me when they got to the venue. X
I had a small bag which had my phone and lipstick in it. My sister held it through the ceremony and it ended up staying on the table the whole night. To be honest it was pretty pointless me having one lol x
I also had a dolly bag with tissues lipstick my bank card and hair clips no one saw it was under my bouquet x
I had a clutch bag that my mum looked after for me till i needed it xc
My bridesmaid had a bag and I just put a couple of things in there. Only phone and lippy but never really used it. Think the bag got left on a table anyway while we were dancing haha. To be honest you won't really need one, you'll be having too much fun to spend time in your phone or fixing your makeup etc. X
I'm planning on having a small bag with my phone, make up and tissues!!! My sister or mum will be looking after it during the ceremony. Xxx
I got little bags for all my bridesmaids, my stuff I just shoved inside my bouquet had a few notes rolled up for drinks, and managed to squeeze my phone and an eyeliner in too haha, no-one even noticed lol
I had a pocket stitched into my wedding dress for phone money etc x
My maid of honour had a handbag with all of the bits we needed in it. I put it in a wedding gift bag and my mum carried it in until after ceremony and photos
I had a bag as I'm diabetic so needed to carry all my supplies, I managed to find one in the same colour as my dress I didn't carry it down the aisle I gave it to my wedding Co-ordinator who put it in a safe place until I needed it. x
All my bridesmaids had small clutch bags
I didn't bother with a bag, I gave my mum my phone and lipstick and my husband had our money :)
I had one. Bridesmaid took it down to ceremony and then it got dumped on a table for the rest of the day
I had a little dolly bag to put my glasses in etc. X
I've made a little drawstring bag for essentials x
Rather can carry it around, I designated the disabled toilet at our reception venue as the Brides Bathroom, made a pretty sign on the door and kept a basket of all sorts in there for me and my husband to use - paracetamol, hayfever tablets for my husband, plasters just in case my shoes rubbed, make up, deodorant and mouthwash in case we wanted to freshen up. It was great knowing it was there and that I could get someone in the toilet with me to help me with my dress!
My mum had a survival kit for us. It had make up, plasters, deodorant, flat shoes and phones in. She kept it under the top table for us. Xx
I'll need a bag for a few bits (inhalers essential) but I'm sure one of your party won't mind looking after it for you until you need it or can put it down. I read a comment above about someone not thinking you need a bag, it's not all about lipsticks and phones, and it's nice to keep your own bits in one place imo. Best of luck for your big day x
I wasn't going to bother until I found a gorgeous clutch bag from Groupon that matches my shoes brilliantly! Now I can put a little bit of make-up in just incase I need to touch it up throughout the day.
Put all your items (makeup etc.) in your MOHs bag if she's happy for you to do that (she should be!) On the day most venues allow your bridesmaids to leave bags in a safe place during the ceremony so your MOH will have them to hand later in the day and you won't need to carry one at all :)
I took some to our venue the day b4
I am planning on giving my essentials to my mum to loom after so I don't need a bag x
I bought little dolly bags for myself and my bridesmaids matching our colour of dress my mum kept mine but my bridemaid just had hers round her wrist x
I had a bag which we left in my mums car until we got to the venue, it was one that fitted my style of dress and was handy for my little pieces of touch up make up, phone etc :)
My maid of honour had her OH take her clutch bag when we walked down the aisle, she had make up, mini deodorant and hairspray, along with a little perfume & at the time cigarettes & my room key. You would be surprised how little I worried about hairspray and make up when the party started lol whatever route you choose to take I hope you have an amazing day and a future filled with happiness and wonderful memories xx
I gave all my make-up etc to my maid of honour and mum :-) always there when you need them :-) X
I want one for the day after the ceremony but only because I saw a sequinned peacock one that's a perfect fit with my theme!
I'm using a small evening bag
I got a little ivory satin drawstring bag with diamonte's on from amazon x
I had a bag for my sister's wedding, she did too. I gave them to OH during the ceremony it came in handy when I took all my jewellery off in the evening
I've thought this.. but I don't really know what I will take with me, maybe some lipstick but i will leave it with my mum or MOH
