Brides, are you having bags on your wedding day? I'll want some bits to hand (makeup etc) but obviously won't be walking down the aisle with one! Same goes for the maid of honour. Should we just get someone to take our bits down to the venue for us beforehand? Seen some nice bags but don't want to buy one if I won't end up using it at all.

My brother gave me away he had my lippy and tissues in his pocket I honestly don't think you need a bag at all.

I had a small bag which had my phone and lipstick in it. My sister held it through the ceremony and it ended up staying on the table the whole night. To be honest it was pretty pointless me having one lol x

My bridesmaid had a bag and I just put a couple of things in there. Only phone and lippy but never really used it. Think the bag got left on a table anyway while we were dancing haha. To be honest you won't really need one, you'll be having too much fun to spend time in your phone or fixing your makeup etc. X

Rather can carry it around, I designated the disabled toilet at our reception venue as the Brides Bathroom, made a pretty sign on the door and kept a basket of all sorts in there for me and my husband to use - paracetamol, hayfever tablets for my husband, plasters just in case my shoes rubbed, make up, deodorant and mouthwash in case we wanted to freshen up. It was great knowing it was there and that I could get someone in the toilet with me to help me with my dress!

My mum had a survival kit for us. It had make up, plasters, deodorant, flat shoes and phones in. She kept it under the top table for us. Xx

I'll need a bag for a few bits (inhalers essential) but I'm sure one of your party won't mind looking after it for you until you need it or can put it down. I read a comment above about someone not thinking you need a bag, it's not all about lipsticks and phones, and it's nice to keep your own bits in one place imo. Best of luck for your big day x

I wasn't going to bother until I found a gorgeous clutch bag from Groupon that matches my shoes brilliantly! Now I can put a little bit of make-up in just incase I need to touch it up throughout the day.

Put all your items (makeup etc.) in your MOHs bag if she's happy for you to do that (she should be!) On the day most venues allow your bridesmaids to leave bags in a safe place during the ceremony so your MOH will have them to hand later in the day and you won't need to carry one at all :)

I had a bag which we left in my mums car until we got to the venue, it was one that fitted my style of dress and was handy for my little pieces of touch up make up, phone etc :)

My maid of honour had her OH take her clutch bag when we walked down the aisle, she had make up, mini deodorant and hairspray, along with a little perfume & at the time cigarettes & my room key. You would be surprised how little I worried about hairspray and make up when the party started lol whatever route you choose to take I hope you have an amazing day and a future filled with happiness and wonderful memories xx
