I can't wear heals due to medical problems so I wore navy Skechers. They matched my colour theme, were really comfortable and no one really saw them anyway x

Charlotte Mills have recently released a wedding trainer called Dana. They are designer wedding trainers if you were looking to spend a bit of money. Alternatively, you can find lots of wedding converse on Etsy that can be customised and decorated to your liking. I was considering it for my reception but I've decided to buy normal converse that I can wear again and I'm going to replace the lace with ribbon. They do glittery or sequinned converse in the shops that could work for that. I've gone for a metallic silver pair to change into once my heels become too uncomfortable.

I have some superdry converse style shoes. The bridesmaids had matching too and we swapped the laces and put ribbon in them instead. They looked great :)

A lot of people do up converse. My sister did them herself and found it really easy, just brought a white pair of converse or you could buy a fake pair and then brought some crystals and put them on the rubber bits with a hot glue gun, looked beautiful x

I was really 32 weeks pregnant when we got married so trainers were a must! I bought a pair of white converse type trainers from primark that had silver bits on them. I replaced the laces with satin ribbon to match my theme and they looked fab! I did it a bit last minute but would have like to have stuck some crystals on them. Will definitely need glue- I tried iron on diamanté and they didn't stick.

You could always buy a plain white pair of shoes that are comfortable... and then make them your own by adding details! Properly DIY and the most unique wedding shoes you could have! :)
