This may seem like a stupid question. I'm looking at a particular dress. Do all bridal boutiques sell each particular dress for the same price? Are the prices set across boutiques or do they differ? I hope this makes sense and it might be useful to see if I can find it cheaper at a different boutique if I can. :-)

I found prices can differ between £20 & £200 depending on the location of the shop and the designer. I'd shop around xx

I found prices can differ too. I bought my dress from one shop but then saw it in another shop and it was £200 dearer xx

The prices do differ especially when adding alterations. I got my dress at the national wedding show and they had 20% off x

I bought my dress local, another shop had it for £200 more, plus their alterations would have been more expensive as well.

Some shops don't advertise the name as well, so be careful with that :)

I tried my dress on in one shop and it was selling at £2000 without the cost of alterations. Managed to locate it in a different boutique and it was half the price (not on sale) and included the cost of alterations and they are holding it until my big day free of charge :-)

They exact dress should be the same price but some shops add on cost to make them selves look better by sometimes being able to say "we'll add this on free" when actually you're paying for it because they bump the price of the dress up xx

You could shop around or Google other bridal shops to see if they stock from the same suppliers/designers etc then go see if they have that dress cheaper..

Some boutiques might be the only supplier if its a particular dress designer sometimes its worth checking online to see which stores carry which designer.

If you know the name and designer of your dress then you can search online for stockists and compare prices xx
