Hi all! I don't know if anyone had this problem but hope you can help. I bought a dress in a wedding dress website and the seller had listed it as new. When the dress camed yesterday it had rust marks all over it. The seller is refusing the return and states that this marks are due to the dress being in storage for a long time. But she didn't tell me about this and apparently the pictures that she showed to me were old. I don't know what to do. I cannot afford another dress.Thank you

Did you pay through PayPal? If so, you might be able to open a dispute to get your money back x

I would open a dispute with the vendor on whatever site you bought it from. They shouldnt be able to sell you something that doesnt look like the pictures x

It's even worth talking to your bank, assuming you paid by card. I had something similar and Lloyds have been fab, they helped me all the way and if it's not your fault they'll open a dispute for you.

Thank you for you comments.I have paid with paypal. Hopefully something will be done. I have paid a lot for postage Vat and custome duties money that probably will never come back to me. The dress is useless, the rust marks cannot be taken off specially from lace.

Have you tried taking it to a weddingood dress specialist dry cleaners. Do you know how old the dress is.

Hi Helen. I have no idea how old it is. It was listed as a new dress. The dry cleaners said that rust cannot be removed and since it is lace can damage it completely
