we have found our dream wedding venue and hoping for July/August 2019. How far in advance should we book venue and church with it being the height of wedding season? thank you x
A lot of venues would allow you to book now....get in early to make sure you can get thr date you want x
We booked our 2018 wedding in 2016 x
We booked ours for this July 2 years in advance and 2 of the weekends had gone get it in early...We got price promise on that years prices too!!! X
We are booking this week for 6th april 2019
We booked our July 2019 wedding end of last year. They are freezing the price for us and we'll have it paid off by August this year.
Now! We're getting married this July but booked a last minute cancellation date. Originally we wanted to get married June 2018 but it was fully booked and even summer 2019 was half booked! They usually increase the prices year by year too so by booking now you usually get a price promise so you get a better deal xxx
We booked ours 2 years in advance. It's best to book early to avoid disappointment
Very much depends on venue.?if u can book now do so but some places, will only book a year in advance.
It's not too early now. I booked may 2015 for our August 2017 wedding. Lots of things were already booked 18 months in advance such as makeup artists and hairdressers
My wedding is November 2019 and we've already booked and paid deposits. X
I viewed mine yesterday and I want June 2019 and I'm booking mine as soon as possible x
We've just booked our wedding for June 2020! All weekends in 18 and all peak season weekends had gone in 19 so I'd book now! Xx
I'd book/contact them as soon as you know that's what you want and you have a date in mind.
I booked my venue 3yrs in advanced and the church 2yrs in advanced cause im getting married on the August bank holiday its never to early got more time to prep then
If it's defo "the one" book it now it's never too early
I booked yrs March 2015 for dec 2017 to give us time to pay it but check on the prices, we were told when we booked we were guaranteed that price then when we went to pay last of ot we were told as the price had gone up twice since booking we had to pay the extra as it's price at time of event not at time of booking, we had nothing in writing to say different and had too much paid that we would have lost so had to just carry on and pay the extra x
We are gettin married aug 2019 and got everything booked now
We get married may 2018 and booked the venue June 2016.. They had bookings in 2019 already too. X
I booked my venue Jan 2017 for June 2020
I am getting married October 2018 and booked it 2 years before so last October x
We booked ours August 2016 for September 2018 wedding, never to early! Plus it's an area where you can save money as most places will honour the prices from the year deposit paid, everyone we have used has xx
We booked in June 2013 for July 2016. As long as the venue is willing to allow you to book go for it. Just make sure you check your contracts though for any price increases that might be applied year on year and make sure if they give you a price and they say no price increase then it is stated as that in your contract xx
Hi I would do it as soon as possible :)
We're getting married at the end of July this year and we booked our venue back in March 2015 It's a very popular venue and gets booked up really quickly... As long as your venue lets you book that far in advance, I would say go for it Takes a lot of the stress away... We also paid the 2015 prices instead of the 2017 prices, so was worth it for that alone xx
Now now now!! I booked in February this year for June 2020!! Never too early if it's the dream venue! :)
Booked our wedding this month for may 2019
We booked ours 2014 and get married this year!! We did have a slight increase in price but was about £5 per person! Get it booked then you can start thinking about all the other fun things! X
We booked ours 3 years in advance (for the August Bank holidau)! Gave us plenty of time to save and plan, but we also secured a lower price before the inflation of the next 3 years!
I booked 18 month before x
We booked 3 years in advance
I would book it now, you don't want to leave it too late and find it is fully booked x
I'd book now! I recently booked my venue for June 2019 and they only had 3 dates left for the whole of the spring and summer! X
As soon as possible. Some places book years in advance and often then will Honour prices for you if you book early enough
I'd enquire about the dates they have available now. I get married in August next year and booked in May last year. My friend gets married in August 2019 and also booked her venue last year so you may find that dates are already being booked up.
If you've decided it's the place you definitely want then get it booked, you'd be surprised how far in advance people book and you don't want to end up disappointed
We don't get married till March 2019 and we booked and paid the deposit last July.
We're getting married in June 2019, We booked the church last year and we've just booked and paid deposits on our reception venue most places will take bookings quite far in advance xx
As soon as you can I found my perfect venue waited a week and our date had been taken
Our wedding is may 2020 and we have already booked it. We knew where we wanted it and the date and we got a good deal at the wedding fayre too so thought might as well x
I get married August 2019 and reserved my date with the venue last year, confirmed and booked - deposit paid in February this year as we knew the hotel manager we were able to liaise with him and keep the date available until we were able to pay the deposit, by booking far enough in advance we feel more capable financially x
I would book now some places get bookings 3 years in advance. Saves disappointment x
I booked ours in April for Nov 2019
I booked for next October and date I wanted already gone so getting married on the Friday instead so wake up on my 30th birthday as husband and wife xx
My sister is also getting married august 2019 and she booked her venue in feb
As soon as possible start looking now, and if you can book it do.

We found our dream venue in March this year and have booked for the end of August 2019! Gives extra time to save and figure out what we want!
We booked 2 years in advance and got the last Saturday in September 2018. Best to speak with the venue :)
I've just booked ours about a month ago for August 2019. It's not so bad if you want a weekday, but if you're after a Saturday, get booking now!!!x.
As long as the venue is taking bookings that far in advance do it as soon as you can.
