We booked our July 2019 wedding end of last year. They are freezing the price for us and we'll have it paid off by August this year.

Now! We're getting married this July but booked a last minute cancellation date. Originally we wanted to get married June 2018 but it was fully booked and even summer 2019 was half booked! They usually increase the prices year by year too so by booking now you usually get a price promise so you get a better deal xxx

It's not too early now. I booked may 2015 for our August 2017 wedding. Lots of things were already booked 18 months in advance such as makeup artists and hairdressers

I booked yrs March 2015 for dec 2017 to give us time to pay it but check on the prices, we were told when we booked we were guaranteed that price then when we went to pay last of ot we were told as the price had gone up twice since booking we had to pay the extra as it's price at time of event not at time of booking, we had nothing in writing to say different and had too much paid that we would have lost so had to just carry on and pay the extra x

We booked ours August 2016 for September 2018 wedding, never to early! Plus it's an area where you can save money as most places will honour the prices from the year deposit paid, everyone we have used has xx

We booked in June 2013 for July 2016. As long as the venue is willing to allow you to book go for it. Just make sure you check your contracts though for any price increases that might be applied year on year and make sure if they give you a price and they say no price increase then it is stated as that in your contract xx

We're getting married at the end of July this year and we booked our venue back in March 2015 It's a very popular venue and gets booked up really quickly... As long as your venue lets you book that far in advance, I would say go for it Takes a lot of the stress away... We also paid the 2015 prices instead of the 2017 prices, so was worth it for that alone xx

We booked ours 3 years in advance (for the August Bank holidau)! Gave us plenty of time to save and plan, but we also secured a lower price before the inflation of the next 3 years!

UKbride Administrator 25 Jun 2017

I'd enquire about the dates they have available now. I get married in August next year and booked in May last year. My friend gets married in August 2019 and also booked her venue last year so you may find that dates are already being booked up.

If you've decided it's the place you definitely want then get it booked, you'd be surprised how far in advance people book and you don't want to end up disappointed

I get married August 2019 and reserved my date with the venue last year, confirmed and booked - deposit paid in February this year as we knew the hotel manager we were able to liaise with him and keep the date available until we were able to pay the deposit, by booking far enough in advance we feel more capable financially x
