We are looking to have a cheese wedding cake and wonred if anyone had found a good supplier of cheese rounds? I've heard Morrisons and a Sainsbury's are super helpful. Happy to decorate it ourselves with our theme but just need the cheese!
Hi that will be different haven't heard of a cake just made of cheese :)
Check with local farm suppliers, they may be able to give you a good deal x
Marks and spencers x
I think M&S do ready made cheese "cakes" :)
Waitrose and local suppliers
We've ordered ours from Costco- the most reasonable cost we found! They will deliver straight to the venue too x
Costco have some large round cheeses to diy a cake
Thecheeseshed.com you can design your own and order it they ship all over U.K. Xx
The cheese shed are the best. They will go out of their way to find you the perfect cheeses for you. As well as advising you on which order the place them etc. Their customer service was second to none for our wedding cheese cake. Shame our venue didnt take note of anything i said and didnt refrigerate the soft cheeses and decided to strip the whole thing of its waxes.
Tesco also do some, Godminster cheese online, we are mixing cheese and pork pie for ours

We went to M&S and everyone said it was the most lovely cheese. I got some cute Mr and Mrs mice from etsy to go on top too xx
The hotel where we had our wedding provided ours, but we did look at sourcing it ourselves from a local Cheese shop or morrisons xx
Delicatessens are a good shout if you want a variety
Waitrose. Is hood and they were really helpful x
If you're in Edinburgh or Glasgow, I J Mellis are fantastic; they'll advise you on which cheeses to go for, to get the best selection of types and flavours, and give you tasters of each when you're in the shop. If you get a round of French Brie, I would advise you to present it within its wooden box, as it's often the round with the largest diameter and will sit at the bottom of the cake so will have the weight of all the other cheeses on top of it; it creates a nice "cake stand" too
We got ours from Costco and it was great! They do more than one size depending on what you want, the price is good too. We decorated it ourselves to fit our theme and it went down really well!
Thats where we ordered from M&S

Can I ask, are you also having a 'normal' wedding cake as well or is this to replace that? I didn't know whether it's a one or the other situation!

Northumberland cheese company are in the North East. Not sure what areas they cover.
Depending on where you are contact a local supplier. I'm in Yorkshire and a good one is shepards purse or parlour made. And depending on where you're getting married ask them if they can get them in for you lots of chefs are happy to help xx
