Does anyone know of any stunning beach venues? I have found one in Bournemouth but they are asking for £12,800 for 50 people for day and evening including drink and food. That's not including dress, cars, flowers etc.. Weddings seem to be so expensive now a days! Our budget ideally is around £10,000.

Try aberdovey, there's a cute little church and lovely beaches. I saw a wedding there the other day they just had a bbq on the beach as the reception

It depends where abouts you're looking for location wise, but the south east have lots to offer. The Gallivant in Rye/camber sands is beautiful, and the Cooden Beach hotel in Hastings is also lovely! X

Bournemouth beach is the only beach in England where you can be legally married. The company that run it offer lots of packages to suit most budgets.

I would go down to cornwall, they're the best beaches in the UK and most likely going to be cheaper than that! Xxx

Have you tried The chine hotel? It's a lovely hotel and you can get married outside in their gardens with a short walk down to the beach for any beach photos you want. It has lovely views across the beach. It's at the Boscombe end of Bournemouth beach so is a lot quieter down there.

I've stayed at this hotel twice and recommend it it's beautiful and the gardens are gorgeous for photos too. This would also give you the fall back option of the ceremony being inside in case of bad weather

If you wanted to get married in the uk, but fancied a wee jaunt north of the border, it's totally legal to get married anywhere in Scotland. Just grab a celebrant and go

We are getting married on Bournemouth Beach and got a great deal- less than £4K for ceremony, food and drinks for 50 people. We are getting married on a Friday and it was one of heir last available summer dates so there are ways of getting around that big cost. The venue partner up with the Marriott Highcliff and can do evening reception there. Our budget was around £8000 and this was doable.

If you fancy a small flight to Dublin I'm getting married at waterside house hotel in donabate. So reasonable, amazing staff and the location is beautiful. They provide a shuttle from the airport for guests too which is really helpful

From my experience you shouldn't even make a budget till you write down how much everything will cost as it soon adds up ours starting at 12000 when we first got engaged we forgot about a lot and now is 17000 and that's just basic stuff

Remember to budget for little things such as underwear , fittings , shoes , decor
