You can have white or Ivory dresses with a sash of the bridesmaid dresses on them x

Whatever you want. White next to ivory can make the ivory look more yellow though,so I'd probably try to match it but that's just me personally

I've never heard of this! I had an ivory 50s style dress, my bridesmaids were in red and my flower girls had blue with white Polka dots

You choose what you wear, I had a pink dress myself and my flower girls had ivory with with a baige under skirt and sash. Have a lovely day

Ivory would be better or they will make your dress look dull x but its even better to dress them in a different colour which will make you stand out in a picture

My dress was technically ivory and my flower girls where white but you can tell there's a difference in pictures but it was also dependant on the lighting. I think it's fine to have different colours, my flower girls had a sash and bow as well as a little bands around their sleeve cuffs that were the same colour as the bridesmaids x

They can be in any colour you like, but if you're mixing white an ivory, be aware that the ivory is likely to look dirty next to the white.

I put mine in ivory/lace to match me! But some go for colour or white x

It's your wedding so it's about what you want! I've got a lilac and light blue colour scheme but my flower girls are going to be in purple as I love the colour and I'm going to have the odd touch of purple in the centrepieces to tie in x

Just compare them in natural light so it doesn't make ur dress look faded n old. Xx

It can be what you want it to be. My dress was light gold, my fg had a gold and Ivory dress from monsoon but I did consider Ivory with a red sash for her because my bms were in red xx

Completely up to you :)

There is a rule in the wedding industry that the flower girl dress should not be a lighter shade than the bride's dress so that the wedding gown does not look dirty. So go with ivory unless there is a good reason not to.

My daughter's dress matched mine but that's only because it was the dress I liked the most, before finding this one for her I was actually looking at an ivory one! Go with whatever you like!

It can be what ever colour you want. Why do people ask these questions? It's YOUR wedding! Sod every body else! It's for you to decide with your partner! There is no rule book... More like guidelines for old fashioned etiquette!
I had my daughter in the same as me as I see her as my mini me and because it had taken so long for us to get married I wanted it to be a big family celebration day, finally we made it sort of thing. It makes sense in my head! Haha

Up to you but if the brides dress is white then ivory flower girls dresses may look dirty looking rather than ivory and vice versa. I'm having a white dress with white flower girl dresses and silver sash's to match up to the bridesmaids silver dresses. Or you could have coloured dresses to match your theme. Your choice

I wouldn't only because white tends to be brighter and may make your dress look "dirty". Have a look at a white and ivory dress together and go with what you like x

It doesn't matter what colour it is. It's all preference. Personally if my dress was white I'd want her dress to be white.

Mine will be!! She's going to as much of a mini me as possible

I know this might sound silly but I have chose a white flower girl dress but as my dress isn't white I felt it made my dress look dirty and discoloured. I have ended up changing it x
