I am in the process of doing the order of the day information, can any one tell me does the father daughter dance happen before the bride and groom dance please I'm confused :)
I think it is after x
It's after
Hi Donna I think the Father of the Bride dance is first then he hands over to the groom :)
ahh thanks so much for that :)
i'm sure its afterwards too
All the weddings I've seen a father-daughter dance at they've been after the "first dance", which is the one with bride and groom. (I'm a wedding photographer.) They don't actually happen that often either!
whenever you want

Me and my friend did ours after but its yiur choice it can be either
I've never personally understood this tradition tbh. But I think if you're having it then it goes after the bride and groom.
I think it's supposed to be afterward, but it's entirely up to you how you do it :)
I'm doing mine before. Xx
Had my father daughter dance before my first dance with hubby x
I'm planning on having mine later. I like the idea of the "first dance" being literally the first dance when the music starts. Then to save boring everyone think gonna be a couple songs before father daughter dance but that one is gonna be open to all dads and daughter invited to join in
Father & Daughter dance is an American Tradition. I hate how all these things are coming over here
After. xXx
I did father daughter first the first dance
The whole idea of your 'first dance' is exactly that. Your first dance and your first dance with your new husband. Dad and daughter dances are more common place now but tend to be after your first dance. Your getting married to your husband not your dad
Hi, don't think it really matters too much but we did father -daughter dance after bride / groom dance x
We done the bride and groom dance first then the father and daughter dance straight after x
It was an old excuse me dance where fathwr and daughter start and husband taps father on shoulder and father steps aside, very significant in the unofficial passing of resonsibility for you from father to new husband. Warning can make mob cry:)!
After. The father hands u over at the ceremony but your groom hands u back for dance 'all symbolic to say you're still his girl too Lol
