I would start looking at anything that involved booking people like the photographer and DJ etc in case they get booked up. :)

When I first got engaged I was told to organise the venue, then photographer and band/dj as soon as possible as these tend to get booked up quite quickly. Everything else then falls into place, I also purchased insurance before paying anything big out :-) hope this helps, and good luck with your planning (and more importantly, enjoy!!!)

HI have a look on line or in a bridal magazine you will be able to get a time with both :)

If you haven't already started compiling your guest list and addresses for your guests now is good time to do it. Send out save the dates if you have not already done so. If your venue is not providing the catering, start looking for a caterer. Start looking at the major parts of the day - come up with a timeline of events and think which suppliers you need for each part of the day - e.g. photographer, videographer, bands/DJ, wedding cake, florist, etc. I personally find having a rough timeline for everything really helps for planning everything else! Good luck!

Ours is 1st September 2018 so plenty of time to organize. We've booked the registry office, the venue, cars, photographer, photobooth, venue dressing and all secured with deposit. Just need to choose cake, dresses and rings and honeymoon now but plenty of time for that 😉
