Has anyone got any tips or advice in regards to wedding cars (particularly in York/Yorkshire)? The journey from our hotel, to the church and back to the reception venue is less than 7 miles so I'm loathe to spend £400 on a car for that but we do obviously need transportation and my mum won't let me get an Uber ha! Any suggestions?
How about hiring a really nice car like a Mercedes or something?
Put an ad on gumtree and see if someone who has a smart 'posh' car is willing to drive you for the day - would be an awful lot cheaper than hiring a specific wedding car
I would go for a car because for me it wouldnt be a wedding without one, you feel so soecial and important in a big posh car, and people like to watch you arrive, word gets out!!
