Sorry I don't live in that area so can't be specific for that venue, but if you are looking for a discount there are a few points you can use to bargain with the venue. When are you planning to hold your wedding? Most venues peak seasons are between July-September with Jan and Feb being the least popular months, if you have your wedding outside the venues peak months this gives you a good leg to bargain on! Same with days of the week, Saturday is the busiest and most expensive, if you do a weekday or Sunday wedding this again is good for you in terms of bargaining power. When I was venue searching I mentioned to all of venues that I wanted our wedding cake to be our dessert rather than one off their menu, and with those who offered package prices I would say that I would prefer prosecco over champagne for the toast/arrival drinks and if they could create a bespoke package for me. Most venues obliged and for one venue it knocked about £2,500 the price be making those few minor changes. Do not be afraid to ask for a discount and get them to tailor their packages for you, those who don't ask don't get! Good luck!
