I am unsure what to do about a chief bridesmaid.. I have my sister (V) or my best friend who I have grown up with (C) and consider her a sister too. V will be better for picking hen do's, but C will be better with calming me etc. (I think) Can you have 2 but have them with different 'roles' as such?

Personally I would go for your sister. Your friend will still be a bridesmaid so she will still be able to help calm you.

I had the same problem, So I've split the role into 2. My sister has the title "maid of honour" and my best friend is "chief bridesmaid" they are working together although my chief bridesmaid will probably do a lot more than my maid of honour :) at the end of the day it's your wedding, there are no laws, do what you want :) x

I'm having 2 MOH, my sister and one of my best friends (she is the one who introduced me to my H2B). Maybe your sister can be MOH (who can be in charge of organising the hen do) and your friend be chief bridesmaid who will be more in charge on the day?
