I'm having exactly the same problem.. started with black, gold and burgundy, ditched the burgundy, then ditched the black, replaced it with ivory, now back to black.... I can't decide.

Hi Amanda I would go either with pastel or mid shades as you are getting married during summer. :)

Mine is all over the place but I don't care I have rose gold table settings and basic decorations my bridesmaid are in blush pink and my flowers are blush pink and white but I'm gonna wear a rose gold hair accessorie and getting my bridesmaids rose gold earrings . But my bleeding fiancé has got it in his head him and the groomsmen are gonna be in bright blue :( I'm gonna try and stop him

If you like them all, why not get your bridesmaids to try on each colour and choose the one which suits most of them the best?

I'd say if you're changing and going through lots of colours why not just make the theme Pastels...I think it looks beautiful.

Chat with your bridesmaids about what colours they like & will wear again .... You could have all 3 colours as I think they could go with the right shades = purple , mint & pink .... All pastel is in !!

I was constantly changing and it wasn't until I went bridesmaids dress shopping and saw the dress that I knew what colour, the dress didn't look right in the light colours I was looking at so picked navy and as it's a spring wedding chose mint for everything else chair sashes etc to lighten it up, it keeps things simple and elegant which is what I was aiming for from the start. Stop panicking everyone goes through it double guessing themselves but you'll find one thing in a colour you love and everything else will fall into place. Btw Pinterest is brilliant for seeing what colours go well with the main one you want x

Why don't you have pink and mint? There's no rule to sticking with just one colour?

UKbride Administrator

Mixed pastel then you can have loads colours

Why not just have all them I love pastel colours so I've got baby pink, pale yellow, mint, baby blue and light purple

If your having trouble with colour schemes why not have all of them in a pastel colour. Get bridesmaids in different pastel colours. Usually looks really well, xx

How funny, my bridesmaids wore navy and I was unsure about the accent colour and went from Mint to Fuchsia to Lilac!
I looked at what I would want to see in the accent colour - for example I found it hard to find bridesmaid dresses in mint so went for navy but finding mint flowers didn't work for me. Fuchsia and navy felt a bit heavy for a summer wedding so I went for lilac. Perhaps use a Pinterest board to put all the things you want in your colour and then choose what looks best. Good luck x

I'm on the same boat , first I decided on ivory, champagne and gold , my HTB likes his suit in blue ish Colour with an ivory cravat, but I realise my wedding is Autumn , I looked online colours and there's red orange, yellow , green . I think I'm going for Autumn colours now but my gosh it's not easy deciding . Good luck

We are getting married next June. We opted for coral and grey. Men are in grey suits. Coral bridesmaid dresses. I found grey helps tone down the bright colour of the coral. If you type colour ideas you are thinking of into Google and click on images it will show you loads of different ways to have the same colours. That's what really helped make our decision easy. Good luck! x

I used to be a wedding coordinator, and if one of my couples were stuck on this I would suggest picking out the bridesmaid dresses first and then revolve the rest of the colour scheme around them! Worked for most.
