I'm beginning to panic a little, I love my dress but it's not practical, I don't know how I will manage the bathroom or the weight of it or even sit comfortably in it, I really did not think it through. Should I maybe see if I can find a sample dress or an off the peg dress or just wear mine ( it was quite expensive) and just hope for the best? Any advise please?

Hi, if your dress is still in the shop you can go for a fitting and ask them for all the advice on sitting and moving around. As for going to the toilet you will either need to ask family to help or you can buy a bridal buddy.

If your worried hun possibly wear it for the ceremony as you obviously love it if you spent a lot on it and have a second more casual dress for the reception x

I agree with both Stacey and Emma. A friend of mine also took about 30 minutes out of the day between the meal and the evening do and took it off in her room and relaxed before rejoining. That also gives you and your new husband time to reflect a bit.
