Hi everyone I was meant to be a bridesmaid in August but I have been going through a lot with family and the bride to be wasn't happy that my family came first so decided to fall out with me. Anyways I paid for half my dress which is £100+ which obviously I won't be using but cos they paid the other they say they get to keep the dress. I struggled to pay for this in the first place. What's everyone's thoughts?
If you are no longer wanted as a bridesmaid personally I think you should be reimbersed . Good Luck :)
Yes i abree with lucy they cant expect you to pay for half then not use you! They ahould have paid in the first place.
I'd agree that they should reimburse you for the half you paid. It sounds like it's their choice your not bridesmaid.
Agree, you should be reimbursed for a dress you are not going to get to even keep! The bride sounds a bit delusional if she thinks you need to put her over your own family!
