We struggled with this! We wanted a song that feels like us! Didn't want anything to soppy as we're not soppy people! We've found a song 'here's to us' by halestorm after months of looking and listening! Won't be to everyone's taste as it's got some choice words in there but it's suits us! don't worrie too much about what other people think of it! It's better to stay true to yourselves! :) xx

Could you find an acoustic version? We were originally going to have something by Kiss but changed to Madness

It can be so tricky to find a song that's a little more alternative and less mainstream. You might find that an acoustic version could work for you both. Have what you want sod everyone else. We have everything from classical to 1940s to grunge to house finishing with metal and industrial. We have come to the conclusion its our day if people don't like the music they can move to a quiet area or another bar

Is rock but not too heavy we had my immortal by evanescence as was close to our hearts.

Search "smith and Myers nothing else matters" on YouTube. They did a nice acoustic version. No drums etc just acoustic guitar so not heavy. Might convince the other half :)
