Is anyone else having a confidence crisis over their dress? i.e: It's 'too much' or 'not enough' or shows too much skin or you think you are too young/old/fat/skinny to wear it? Or you just don't like it any more? What are you doing to get over it?

My dress is beautiful and I love it but I am worried how I'm going to sit in it, as it's quite large. I don't think I thought it through

Sharon, I am going to be 47 at our wedding. (My 2nd his 1st. ) As old as we feel hey!!! ive chosen a champagne coloured dress by Debenhams, & having a wrap to cover my arms.. it's same style as my bridesmaids & as we r getting married in local registry office & pub do after I thought it would be daft to send hundreds.. £24.24p bargain.. lol.. feels nice on, and not over top, & MORE importantly I feel comfortable in it..

My 2nd wedding his first also. My crisis of confidence is over price and my weight. Lost 1.8 stone and found a figure hugging dress. Was told i was trying on a 14 (which was too small) and to get the right size i'd have to go up 2 sizes! (I've worked really hard and am now a high street 12!) This dress was £900! (My 1st dress was £600 which I thought was expensive in 2000)
I then tried on separate which were more practical and still beautiful, but just the top and skirt are over £1400! I am really struggling to know what to do
