Hi brides! We are getting married on a tight budget but I would like my h2b to have a nice suit (let's face it most of the wedding IS orientated around the bride so it would be nice for him to have a fancy suit) however we are struggling to find a made to measure/tailor made suit supplier to fit our budget of £300 or lower. Has anyone got any suggestions or pointers to help us out?

Could you buy a standard suit and then have it altered to be tailored? By already having the suit you should reduce the cost of the tailoring. Failing that individual tailors rather than well known companies will be able to offer better prices.

Burton menswear.... Start at £99 and you own the suit forever. We bought my husbands suit from Jeff Banks in York Designer Outlet last year, it wasn't made to measure but the tailor there is extremely helpful and knowledgeable so should be able to find a suit that best suits his size and shape. My hubby is short and tried on a few he liked, none of which were right. The tailor brought one out and it was perfect! Great price too (3 piece plus a shirt for less than £200). This was a bought suit too, he didn't want to hire as he wanted to keep it like I kept my dress x
