In need of help, I'm trying to find a very cheap wedding venue for ceremony and reception and a honey moon for 2 nights near same place, we only really have £1.500 if we can save in time any recommendations, have little extra aside for dress and little pieces.
I don't know numbers but maybe look at Gretna green? For something intimate? Then you could holiday nearby
My venue was a village hall 300 for complete hire for all weekend it was superb as it allowed bring ur own booze and own caterers saved us a fortune x

My brothers wedding cost £1000 all in so it's possible. Their ceremony was in a beautiful small hall in the local museum across the road from the registry office. Reception in a hall. Decorated with balloons and lanterns instead of flowers. It was lovely. Dress was preloved and stunning.

Do you have any pubs or hotels that have Function rooms? You could get married at a registry office and then have a party nearby? Some may also have accommodation! Also Asos and even Tesco actually have a wedding dress Range!

If you're on a major budget like that then look to have your wedding outside of the wedding season. Get married at the registry office and hire out a hall somewhere. You can normally find some places that hire a room/Hall out for free and decorate it yourself! Honeymoon wise I would just go and stay in a little b&b near to somewhere that interests you. You can normally save money if you stay just outside of a popular area (for e.g. when we went to alton towers we saved £60 a night by staying in a b&b in Uttoxeter instead of right near the park and it was only a 15min drive away!!)
