Hi. I've been engaged for 14 years had my wedding dress etc for 10 years. Decided to do other things that took financial priority. Now we have decided to do it! Feb 2018. But I'm so overwhelmed. It's a very small wedding but everywhere has limits for the venue for more people than we have and the prices are extraordinary! All I want is to get married simply with my family :/
Have you tried your local church, there are no limits on guest numbers and then try having your reception at a local working mans club or sports hall or village hall. They tend not to have minimum numbers x
I abree with kim, we are having a church do followed by sit doen hog roast and buffet for under 80 guests in a barn on the farm where we live. My first marriage we had the village hall. Got to say i would never have lasted waiting 14 years , ive been engaged for two and thats bad enough!
Thank you ladies :) had no luck getting hold of the vicar at our local church but am trying in the next village. Lol within the 14 years we have lived in other countries bought cars, house and had more kids amongst life's rollar coaster ;)
Haa natalie life does have that habit of getting in the way, in supposed to be saving for a house deposit! Oh well always next year!:).
