Hey brides to be! I went dress shopping today for the first time, and it was the worst experience ever. The shop assistant couldn't have been more helpful! But every dress i tried on I felt awful in. I'm big chested, and am normally around a 14 in tops, but could only get in to a 16! And every dress was all boob. Has anyone else been in a similar situation, and what styles would you recommend trying? Thanks!
Hi, yes the same thing happened to me I felt a sheath or column to be the best or a tea length as I am quite short. Hope this helps. :)
Im a size 14 but yes in wedding dresses you have to go up a size thats normal. Shape it depends if you want to enhance your assts or not! Ive gone for a mermaid with off the shoulder removable straps. Im a d cup! You could try for a v neck line if you want to cover the girls and an a line skirt. Dont be dispodant just keep trying different shapes then once you gave that you can look for design :). Have fun with it chin up girlx
Have you considered getting your dress custom made? I'm super lucky that my Mum is making mine, but you can find reasonable seamstresses who can make your dress.
Also, don't feel restricted to a wedding dress! If there's a style of dress that you feel awesome in, find that style in the colour you want to wear on your wedding day, add accessories and you'll feel beautiful and bridal!
I was in a similar sistuation, I'm rather bottom heavy, nothing up top, and all the dresses I tried on I had to out over my head and they fit fine but was very slack over my breasts.... I'm getting my dress custom made, only way I will be 100% comfortable on my day!
Hello, my mum went to a plus size wedding shop as she is very busty and did not want theme out onow display.. her dress was strapless but got them added and it pulls her into give that hour glass figure and also hides her boobs nicely 😊 if anything they look bit smaller x
i feel that you will know it right when you find the right dress i am self conscious but as the months and days have gone on and i keep going back to my dress and trying it on and having alterations the final product is amazing and you feel like a princess
