We want to go for a non traditional Fun wedding cake, i.e. Cup Cakes and Cake Pops. Whats everyone's opinion
I'm having cupcakes so much easier less messs kids and adults love them what could go wrong
They seem to be the traditional way now anyway lol. Everyone has cupcakes of pop cakes.
Cupcakes are a fab idea... you could also go cookies or Krispy Kreme do donut wedding cakes! There is loads of less traditional options x
We had a cupcake tower with a big cupcake on the top
Easier to share out. :-)
A lot of people are choosing to have cupcakes now, they're easier, they usually work out cheaper and you can have a variety of flavours. A friend of mine had a cupcake tear cake, that looked awesome!
If that's what you want then go for it! Some people might have opinions but it's your day so do what you both want x
We had a 6inch cake and 75 cupcakes on a big stand looked really nice and got it on a deal my local cake maker had at the time (£25 cake and £1 per cupcake!) xx
We are going for tiers of cheeses as we aren't the biggest cake fans :) so cheddar, brie etc and bringing out crackers later on :) xx
Cup cakes, or traditional, anything goes as long as you enjoy your special day. I had a ball and chain at my previous wedding
Wer having a half and half cake if you like that idea something similar to this xx
We had a tea pot wedding cake with cupcakes underneath xx
We had cupcakes not single one left was definitely a hit
We had cupcakes! Everyone just helped themselves
We did this too.... worked out cheaper.
We had 3 cakes, they were all three tiers but they were smaller than a traditional wedding cake. Each was decorated differently. One looked like a classic wedding cake, one was iced in blue, Cookie Monster theme and the last was a Manx bonnag (like tea loaf) with flowers. All our guests thought they were great
Cake jars :) they're easier for guests to take away
We are having Krispy Kreme donuts
We had cup cakes with giant cupcake on the top. People helped themselves as they wanted so was no waste :)
People who had cupcakes:
Did you do enough for every guest, or for a percentage (say 90%)?
Did you have many/any left over?
We're having a chocolate brownie tower, something like this
I like mini jars of cake.
Krispy Kreme, cupcakes, cheese, any cake you like it's your day go for whatever you fancy.
What about a croquembouche?
Or M&S have brought out a bride and groom caterpillar cake!
I'm having 50 of these cupcakes
Hi we haven't been able to decide what we're going to do yet and we are getting married on 21st July!!!, cake or cupcakes?! 🤔🤔
We are having 150cupcakes and single tier cake :)
I'm having a cheesecake & pavlova wedding cake on a saucepan rack instead of traditional cake! My dad makes amazing cheesecake and my partners mum makes amazing pavlova so it's a win win!! X
I went to a wedding where instead of a wedding cake, they did a bake off! People made their own version of a wedding cake and they ended up with loads they also had a tiered cake made entirely of different cheese!
I thinks its a great idea!
This is a first practise of our half half cake. I only have pictures of his side though
Fantastic idea x
I'm going for cupcakes!!! Pinterest has been really good for some inspiration xxx

We're having Krispy Kremes
I had a cupcake tower xxx
This was ours, we had a game of thrones theme :) loved our cake :)
We had ginger bread men cos the hubby still loves them.
We're having a wedding cake and cake pops
We had cupcakes and they went down a treat there was no leftovers as i feel there can be with a big cake. We had different flavours from lemon to chocolate with orange cream filling. Was a lot cheaper then a cake also which is always a bonus as budgets can get blown away really quick!
Cupcake tower over here
Cup cakes are the done thing now x
