I have found my dream dress but sadly the boutiques price is not fitting my budget. I'm devastated. I know the dress has been about a few years and was wondering if anyone has seen it or knows the make or number so I can try and find it. I've tried on over 30 dresses now but nothing compares. Please help xx

try ringing round or emailing the bridal outlet stores and warehouses, you may find it

Hi Jade how about finding a dressmaker that could copy it. :)

There are lots of places online where you can get things for a fraction of the price if your happy to take your own measurements etc, most won't take them back unless faulty (as they are effectively made to measure so not easy to sell on) but if you know it's the one that shouldn't be an issue! :)

Go back to the shop you saw it in and find out the brand and then you can try and find it elsewhere x

Have you tried Wed2Be? Or also, some bridal shops have huge sales! Are you in a position to wait and see if it hits the sale? I'm not sure where you're based but I know in Essex we have lots of bridal outlets that do certain designers.
There's also a website that specialised in second hand gowns! I found my dress on there for 1/3 of the price!

Try ringing round different stores which stock the designer. I found my dream designer dress on sale, had to get the sample size, but remember it can always be altered down. Some say up to four sizes!

What about looking for a dress that's as close as possible and finding a good dress maker that could add or take bits off. I know it's a drive but I have a friend who's an amazing dress maker. Her prices are really reasonable and she's done work at London fashion week etc.

You could see if the boutique can come down on the price. We found my OHs dress for cheaper elsewhere (second hand) and the boutique cut us a deal. Think we got. Few hundred off it. always worth asking.
