Hello, I hope it's okay to ask a question like this... I'm recently married (23rd March) and am now looking at starting up a wedding favour/decoration business from home. Can I ask what favours you ladies are having/have had for your big day? Did you go for something different or traditional e.g box of chocs/mints? Did you do the decoration yourself or hire someone? If it's not too cheeky to ask how much did you spend on both? If anyone has any advice on starting a business like this it would be very much appreciated. Thank you very much! x
I'm arranging an evening wedding, so I'm going for sparklers.
I am having sachet bags with a heart shaped nail file and some just married rock for the ladies and for the guys I'm having favour boxes with the rock inside
Ive got alsorts on the tsble, horseshoes, chocolate tractors, im baking bisciuts bdcause at nearly £5 each i wasnt going to spend that much! Ive also got rose gold keys . I hold a management degree and number one is unique selling point no2. High percentage of new business fail in five years. Make sure your business plan is watertight and dont go crazy on stupid business cards and advertising.
I am doing my own. I'm having mini lego soap's for the males and mini lush bath bombs for the females for 100 of each it is costing me £40 off ebay. For the children I am doing colouring books, crayons, balloons with stickers, lego pack and bubbles....having to get it all separate, found it difficult to find pre made packs for children so for me that would be a big selling point. Baby's are having a bath toy and baby book. My advice would be setting up a page on facebook and get people to share it rather than paying stupid prices for advertisement and business cards. We are not doing chocolates due to our son having milk and soya allergies and we just can't find any pre made favour companies that cater for allergies with in our budget. Good luck hun!
and congratulations on your marriage.
