I was getting this married this August but due to health issue we have postponed to July 2018. We had all our flowers and cake decorations all ready for this year...I've just looked at all the stuff we have (so I don't double up) and now want to cry. I now hate my BM's flowers, cake decorations and I wish I had got a poesy instead of a teardrop. Has anyone else done this before? Did this feeling pass? What did you do? Tia xxx

I would think its just the deposit you have paid on the flowers at the moment? Should be fine to change them, my florist told me as long as i confirm 2 weeks before the wedding when final payment is due i can completely change the type, colour, size, anything i want to. You need to speak to them before getting worked up about it

Yes! I bought all my things when I got engaged thinking it wouldn't be a massively long engagement. I now don't fit in my dress (I've lost over 8st), hate my flowers and most of the things I bought at the time!

Sell them on eBay and buy new.

We got fake flowers so paid in full and have has them a year. Our budget doesn't stretch to real ones. Yeah we did the same Anne-Louise. I've decided BM are having new flowers. Lady that did my tear drop has said she will do us a deal. I was stupid and got Thier flowers from China and mine from someone else (just didn't think at the time) x

I bought my first dress ages ago and have changed my mind on it. And bought a new one that i totally love.
Also changed my hair and make up artist as she was quite costly and we had to travel to her to get trials and the trials was not even included.

Sell or change them to some extent. I had some things i wasnt happy with but was on a tight budget so had to keep it in perspective and live with some of it. At the end of the day ... i had the most fantastic day and married the love of my life. Nothing else really matters.
