Was wondering what to do about tanning products I'm worried they will rub off on to my white dress! What have other brides used or are going to use?

I must admit I'm being naughty and will be using a sunbed before hand. I've heard that St Tropez is an excellent brand

I had a spray tan at the best place I could find, I asked in advance about it rubbing on dress and if you get it done the right amount of days before you will be fine. I had the littlest bit on the inside of my dress but nothing notiacable :) xx

I never used any tanning products, it was October when I got married so had a little bit of a tan plus I didn't want my dress marked

I know it's not great for you but the only way you'll have a tan and not be orange is a sunbed. You can get it cheap or a month subscription and get it how you want.

I'm going to give the st tropez everyday a go or use a moisturiser with tan in it so hopefully it won't be as dark as a normal spray tan & hopefully won't rub off on dress

I used a sunbed. I think I want 3 times a week for about 5/10 mins each time and it gave me a lovely natural colour.

I wore St Tropez on my wedding day and use it regularly if you do it 2 days ahead you'll get barely any rub off onto your dress and looks natural

I had a spray tan on the Thursday got married on the Saturday. Tan didn't go on ether of my two wedding dresses but I did also have Botox in my armpits 6 weeks before to stop me sweating (Botox actually worked for me, I didn't sweat in my armpits at all for 6months, much better results than i expected lol) x

Hi. I am a trained beauty therapist. I use sienna x and it is amazing. If your getting married on the Saturday I would suggest having it on the Wednesday or Thursday, this way it has a couple of days worth of showering therefor should not come off in your dress. Hope this helps x

I had a few sneaky sunbed sessions before. I figure as a once off, a few responsible sessions should limit any damage ;)

Try Tan Organic. I bought some and there's no smell, no staining and it builds up colour over a couple of days. I tried it and had no problems with it. Its an oil you just rub in and it advises wiping round your finger nails using a wet wipe. I just washed my hands and was fine

Currently using Palmers cocoa gradual tan and I will be using white to brown the week before I use the original as the dark goes WAY too dark! X

Take care. They can look quite natural BUT still look a little orange in pictures.
Make sure you have it about 3 days earlier or be naughty and have a bed!

I'm having ST tropez manual tan professionally applied on the Thursday before my wedding on the Saturday. Having full body exfoliation beforehand. I have the spray tan usually in a regular basis but more control over a professionally applied one. My dress is white so it will look stunning x

As long as your wash all the tan off properly no tan will rub on to any clothing xxx

No matter what you use, it will rub off, sweat off, everything for a tan look will stain somewhere.
I was naughty, I paid £40 non-stop tanning at the sunbed shop.
I started 4 weeks before my wedding date & tanned 15mins one day & 9mins the next... constantly for one month.
Was well worth it, had a lovely glow & used the red carrot gel tanning lotion.

I used sunbeds but still had strap marks. Went and got a very light spray tan done and it still rubbed off on my dress. Xx

I had a spray tan the night before. I had a few done in the months leading up so knew exactly how it would look. The salon I go to uses the Moroccan tan and I'm fair skinned so went for a number 8 (the lightest) it goes 8, 10 or 12. Photo attached xx PS it didn't rub off at all and I done a LOT of dancing all night, lol xx
