When is the best time to buy your wedding lingerie? I get married July 2018 but have seen some that I love now. Is it too soon to buy it?

Tricky question I think. You could buy it now if you don't anticipate loosing weight and being the same size you are now. Or if you are loosing weight buy it in your desired size. I bought a corset, bra and knickers lingerie set for my day. I never wore the corset but it was not a total waste as I got them all in the sales and can use in the future. So if it is something you really want, go and get them. As may not be available next year .

Wait till you get your dress as you need to find underwear that works with the dress. You will probably find you won't even need a bra as most dresses come with support sewn in and actually fit & look nicer without a bra

If you have your dress and do the plan to lose or gain weight then go for it. However, if you haven't got the dress or need to lose or gain weight then I would wait until 6 months before the wedding at the most.

If you've seen some you love just go for it! Then later on if it doesn't work with the dress get some that then does and you can use this one as the one you change into for your wedding night I had two sets just because if it was a hot day (which it was absolutely roasting) I could change into a fresher one later on as I got a little uncomfortable.

Never buy your underwear before you have your dress....working in a bridal shop the dresses have so much support and boning in them that 9/10 girlies don't wear a bra! Comfortable pants are key, tight or digging in won't be nice as dresses can be heavy and they can determine what style you go for!!
All in all No real rules just friendly advice it's your decision! Good luck.

Wait until you get your dress, I had my eyes on a beautiful lingerie sent - now I need to be braless so I can't wear it!

Hi Ladies Thanks for all your advice. I already have my dress as I was ment to be getting married this august, but due to health have had to post pone. I don't plan on losing anymore weight. I just want something to push my boobs up a bit as when this picture was taken I had a 8 week baby and my milk had swelled my boobs so it fit amazingly. (baby is now 14 months) x

Unless u plan to drastically change shape/size for your wedding if you've seen undies you like get them and put them away safe handy to have early to try on with your dress for alterations n stuff.

On the topic of underwear... what underwear is best for trying on dresses??

Victoria F. When I went to get my dress I just went in my everyday underwear and they asked me to take my bra off to try some of the dresses on.

Get your dress first. And pretty underwear doesn't always work, depending on the style of the dress as you don't want anything showing through or causing 'bumps'. I ended up with very plain smooth pants and no bra- that's all I could wear with the dress I had.

Wedding lingerie lol??? I wore my comfiest 'Bridget Jones' pants and no bra (the dress supported enough)!!! Most important rule is, make sure you're comfy, as you're in your dress a long time.
