We wanted to have something a little different to entertain people on the evening of the wedding.. already mentioned a Photo Booth type thing but does anyone have any other suggestions/ideas?? Any suggestions welcome :D
We're having a street magician. He's going to be there for a couple of hours while the evening guests are arriving and will be based by the bar. Hopefully will get the day and evening guests mingling x
We thought photobooths were quite common now so we opted for a silhouette artist. He cuts a silhouette of someone in about 2 mins and gives them a framed one and one for us to put in our guestbook. He also cuts a full length bride and groom silhouette. Means a little gift for them and gives people something to talk about!
We're having lawn games, giant jenga, connect 4 etc. Obviously depends what time of year and what outside space you have.
We are potentially having a bouncy castle but again depends on space. There is also a magic mirror an alternative to photo booth where you basically selfie then can draw at pictures emojis etc to the image.
We've seen a retro ice cream man, and a photobooth which is an old taxi, which also allows you to record video messages
We had a photo booth and it was the best money I have ever spent! There was a queue all night for it and the album we got is full of fantastic pictures! We also had a sweet cart and the venue had its own outdoor games for the kids
We had secret opera singers and fireworks x
I'm having a balloon artist for the children, magic mirror photo booth, sweet cart and then another idea for entertainment that I ant put on here as it's a surprise. It's fun and imaginative. If anyone would like to know what it is then please inbox me :) I'm also having popcorn and candy floss, oh and chocolate kebab x
We have booked a casino table...complete with our faces printed on the chips!!
Magician .. fireworks display .. ice cream cart .. x
we had an indoor cinema! it was meant to be outdoors but it was too sunny! bean bags, popcorn, projector and screen! we played Harry Potter and toy story!
We had a photo booth, rodeo camel, disco dome bouncy castle, caricaturist and face painter. We had so many children coming we didn't want anyone to get bored x
Caracturist...
We're having a band play and a characaturist xx
We're having vintage board games

I like the idea of a magic mirror - it's a touch screen mirror that you stand in front of and it takes full length photos and prints them immediately for guests to take home. Costs about the same as a photobooth I think :-)
I'm thinking of a mechanical bull. This would be so much fun
I'm a psychic medium and do mini readings for weddings - this might be an idea if you find someone local to you that does it x
We had a band but not like any normal wedding band. If you look them up on YouTube, they are called duke official. They were absolutely amazing and everyone loved how different it was x
Caricture

Yes and they were brillant Steph xx ️️
Fire spinners, we had them and everyone loved the show! The company was called jughletastic
We've got card table and 2 people coming to run it for us
We have two styles of Photobooth but they aren't bog standard boxes. We have a vintage booth for indoors or a vintage caravan if you wanted to take advantage of outdoor space. I know you mentioned about booths but I just wanted to stress that not all booths are the same.
Characture draws people as they enjoy the do and hands them the drawing x
We had a silhouette paper cutter going round he would do two copies then we could get copies for an album - guess the guest it became!! Also looked at characturists too
Caricatures x
Casinos are good at weddings they can act as icebreakers for 2 families that are joining together x
I catered one wedding that had opera singers. They were posing as bar and waiting staff it was incredible to watch they got stuck right in and started just after we put dessert out. Totally blended in. X
Caricature or a magician? :) x
