Hi :) I have 4 bridesmaids, one of which is a junior as she's 10. I'm wondering what sort of dress I should get for her? Should it be the same as the others? I don't want her to feel uncomfortable in a dress that's too 'old' for her. I really want them all to look and feel amazing! I'm just wondering if a different dress would make her not look like one of my bridesmaids if that makes sense.. Any advice or tips would be hugely appreciated!! :) X

Hi!
2 of my bridesmaids (my sisters) will be young teenagers when i get married so i think i'm just going to ask them how they feel? As one of them will be 15 so i don't want her to feel left out if she isn't wearing the same as the 2 adults but then don't want to leave the younger out either?
so they'll probably end up either having the same or very similar styles as the two other bridesmaids - hope that helps! :)

My sister will be 11 when I get married and she will be having a different dress (same colour scheme) because I don't think it is appropriate for her to have a strapless dress! :) x

What about having a colour and having everyone in a slightly different style so she can pick one she is happy with and look the same as the others

Hiya, I have the same. 3adult bridesmaids and one who will be 3days off being 11. I bought the multiway dresses, as I wanted the girls to all have same colour dress but different styles that suits them. Which also means it can be tied a suitable way for the 10 year old xx

They do a lot of junior styles online that are very similar to adult bridesmaid dresses.

This was my sisters wedding. The junior bridesmaid was 10. Our dresses were made and she had the same material but a different style too so she still felt and looked like a bridesmaid rather than flower girl but was more age appropriate

My step daughter will be 12 when we get married next year , and I don't want her to look too grown up, so I am getting her the same dress as my flower girls, but she is having a bridesmaid bouquet, so she is a mixture of the two x

I have four bridesmaids amd a jnr bridesmaid who will be 9 come the wedding. I'm having their dresses made. The backs are quite intricate with alot of detail. I'm having the jnr bridesmaids dress the same with just plain straps so it's the same but not so old looking for her age

I asked my flower girl/ young bridesmaid (she's the same age range as yours) and she wanted a flower girl dress :)

My little sister who's bm is 14 and will be wearing the same as my adult bm. The place I got mine from (Sexy her) make any dress in junior and flower girl versions too so will be getting the same dress on top but a big puffy skirt for my flower girl who is 4 :)

I had the same problem as I had my 10 year old cousin as bridesmaid and wasn't sure if she was a bit young for the other dress. In the end I asked her what she wanted, and she wanted a big princess dress! She looked gorgeous xxx

Have a look through a selection with her and ask what kind of dress she might want to wear?

All my bridesmaids will be wearing the same dress. However they are adults so the bottom of the dress will have to be cut off for my 10yr old bridesmaid. We're then going to put some of the material from the bottom on the inside around the bust area to make it more suitable for her age :-)

I went for similar but not the same for my junior bridesmaid. Just a more appropriate neckline and longer sleeves. She loved it x

My young bridesmaid will wear the same colour as the other 2 but will just differ slightly in length, won't be to the floor and the top is more covered with straps. She's really happy to be wearing the same colour but something more suited to her age x

Take her along when you choose dresses n see how she feels. You might end up with a style that will suit all ages. Good luck.
