I'm going with flats. I don't wear heels normally and want to be comfortable and not worry about toppling over!

I'm thinking of getting heels to walk down the aisle as it makes me more feminine, and changing to jazzed up converse for dancing!! X

I wore kitten heels, I can't walk in heels. But I wanted a little height as I'm 5"3 and my husband is 6"0 :) go with what your most comfortable in

UKbride Administrator 22 Mar 2017

Think about your venue, we have a lot of outside grass space so heels may prove difficult.

I'm doing heels for the day and flats in the evening x

I'd love to wear flats but my partner is quite a bit taller than me so need some height. I'm gonna go for a wedge type heel cos find them more comfortable X

Flats for me, even though I'm 5ft 1 and my h2b is 6ft 6! Even if I wore 6 inch heels there'd still be a massive difference I want to be comfy ️

I bought so many pairs of shoes for my wedding a huge heel (I'm 5ft 4 my husband is 6ft 2) worried that I wouldn't be able to walk in them as the church had a cobblestone floor. I wore a 2 inch heel for the church as soon as I got to the reception my high heeled trainers came out

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 22 Mar 2017

Flats, then comfier flats for the reception. My h2b is an inch shorter than me already

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 22 Mar 2017

Flats! I'm 5"4 and h2b is 6"4 so if never be near his height might as well be comfy

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 22 Mar 2017

Heels all the way I wouldn't feel like a proper bride in flats I'd like to feel lady like ... does that make sense? X

You wear what is most comfortable for you. I wear boots all year round so it was only logical that I wear boots on my wedding day. There is no right or wrong with what to wear, whatever best for you.

Flats. No one will see them, I've never worn heels in my life anyway, plus I've got stairs to walk down :P

I'm 5'8 and wore flats as husband is shorter than me.i was worried I'd feel less like a bride in flats as I'd always imagined heels but I still felt amazing on the day and didn't have to worry about sore feet on the dancefloor.

Heels go to all the effort with everything else, why not a gorgeous pair of heels too 🤗 xx

UKbride Administrator
UKbride Administrator 22 Mar 2017

I wore small heels for the ceremony and pictures and then changed into slippers straight away. Best decision ever! So comfy so I danced the night away and nobody can see anyway (or those who did had a good laugh!!!)

I've bought a lovely pair of heels as I love all shoes. I don't even have my dress yet but shoes are very important to me. I'm also looking to buy flats so I have the option of changing into them if needed. Alternatively, slippers are always an option to change into RRachel Potts
