{"FB":true,"content":"#MEMBERREQUEST - I am getting married in July and am fortunate enough that my parents are contributing quite a lot towards the day. We are paying for some of it too though, so on my invitations, who do I say is inviting people? Would it be weird to say the four of us?"}
We've put 'Together with their families, bride & groom invite you" as we're in the same position; both our sets of parents are contributing but we're paying for the bulk of it ourselves, so that way seemed like the best way to word it :)
I have together with their families
I addressed mine together with our parents
'Together with their parents, [name] and [name]' or 'Together with Mr & Mrs [your parents surname], [your name] and [fiancé's name]' or informal - 'Together with [Dad first name] and [Mum first name]...' maybe? x
We put the names of his mother and my father (our other parents are both deceased) and said cordinally invite you to celebrate the marriage of their children then put our names.
Roslyn Allan wouldn't even have thought about this
This helped me 😁
We are in the same position as you. We made them out from my parents as they are technically paying for the "marriage" part of the day x
Ours say "Miss Laura Hallas & Mr Oliver Coburn, together with their families, invite you to celebrate their marriage"...
On our invites, we said 'Together with their parents Robert and Rebecca would be delighted if....could join them in celebrating their marriage'
both families have contributed and it just felt right to include them. Good luck xx
I can't wait to get married!
We have "Along with our parents..."
I put together with their families ..
My parents are paying for our venue for us, so we put the invites from them, even though we are paying for the rest of it
My parents are paying for our wedding venue for us, so we put the invites from them
We will be doing Together With our Families as we are all contributing:)
On our invite we put "abbie & Jamie together with their parents request the pleasure of the company of........" as our parents helped out too
Brides names and grooms name along with their parents request the pleasure of your company
