I get married in 4 months and now all the big things are sorted I'm starting to think about all the little bits and pieces like postboxes, bunting, wooden signs etc. Problem is, this was something I didn't really think about when budgeting! Our venue is rather pretty so we don't need to massively dress it up, but I would like to bring a bit of our colour scheme into the place with banners etc. How much did people pay for their little bits and pieces and where are some cheap places to get these things??? THANKS!!
you can get lots of nice things of ebuy ? most of them
will also send you a sample too for favour boxes and stuff
The range x
Hobby craft and the range x
I haven't budgeted for the little things but we are buying bits and pieces when we have spare money and storing them. Hopefully this will give us more budget at the end of the day and we'll have the stuff we want. I'm planning to make quite a bit myself so stocking up seems like the best idea.
eBay x
Confetti.co.uk and ginger ray xx
The range,B & m, Amazon, and home and bargains are good for decor. I spent less than £40 or £30 on decor likes signs, bunting etc. In fact there were some I bought that I didn't even use. So my advice would be know exactly what decor you want or need.
We made basically all our decor, including bunting and signs etc. We got a cheap board of MDF from a woodyard and got them to cut it down to the sizes we wanted for the signs then painted on them. Bunting was made using bedsheets (I found this was the cheapest way to buy lots of fabric!) Which was just cut into triangles and sewed onto ribbon and there was loads! I also brought a heart shaped punch and lots of paper in my colour scheme to decorate the tables, and made the centre peices with jars and lace. All in all our decor was super cheap because we did so much ourselves! X
I bought loads off eBay!! So much cheaper than confetti and etsy but the exact same quality!
Ebay defo! Ebay is my best friend atm x
Home bargains do lots of nice bits at reasonable prices
my mum made a lot of our decs shes currently selling them in bundles on ebay :) all pastel colours :) her friend made us bunting too so saved a lot x
We went to places like hobby craft, the range, dulumn mill to get bits and pieces, and either made them ourselves or got them rather cheaply :)
Home bargains have lots of pretty wedding bits
We made buntings from twine and heart shaped paper doilies and they were really effective. The Range was great for knick knacks and eBay is great
The Range, Home Bargain and B&M were my go to places, plus eBay and Amazon have absolutely loads of stuff, too x
We used beer and whisky bottles, server plates bought for a pound from aldi and some coloured gems from eBay and amazon. Also chalk pens and fairy lights from eBay. Doesn't have to be expensive our decorations came in at less than 40 quid.
Go to home bargains if you have one near you. That's where we've got all our little bits from xxx
eBay is my best friend and just making things myself.
You'll find some great bits in The Range, Home Bargains, B&M and eBay. Maybe look on wedding selling groups on Facebook too!
eBay, the range, all the shops that do bits cheaper I've found lots of lovely bits in different places x
Go places like the range and hobbicraft as you can get bits for cheap.
I got centre pieces from £1shop and the water beads from home bargains. I got vases and ribbon from the range and made table runners out of a roll of organza! (Also from the range but can get on ebay) I personally don't like banners.
The range and home bargains have some amazing things for wedding at really decent prices
The postbox is simple enough. I bought one from hobbycraft and painted and decorated it myself, cost about £15 altogether where the metal ones cost like £50 plus to hire ! X

If your Christmas tree lights are white or the colour of your wedding, you could use them to decorate the venue.
All our bunting and signs came from hobbycraft and the range. We also found some lovely unique things on etsy, such as our guestbook.
Home bargains was a godsend to us and so is online aliexpress .
Try confetti (online) they always have massive discounts and great choices of stuff! Xx
We are using jam jars and wine bottles (good excuse for a girlie wine night or two!) for our centrepieces and we are decorating them with lace and Tiffany box coloured ribbon (to match bridesmaid dresses). We bought the ribbon and lace from Hobbycraft and we bought our flowers from The Range and eBay (so we can keep them after the wedding) The logs to go with our centrepieces are from my parents garden xx
I'm guilty of going OTT on the decor , but confetti have loads of things and different ideas and normally have sales on too
