Hi all..I brought my dress yesterday....so exciting!!!!!! The dress has a low cut back,I don't think I would feel quite right if I wasn't wearing a bra, so I'm just wondering if anyone can recommend somewhere that sells preferably strapless, low back bras. Thanks in advance.

I'm getting my seamstress to cut the straps off a bar and sew it into my dress! And also the bridesmaids are doing the same as they have a low cut back dress x

I didn't think I'd feel comfy without a bra but ended up chucking the bra!

My dress has a low back and the seamstress is putting a little bit padding at the front so I don't need a bra x

It depends what size you are. If you are over a certain cup size I doubt you'll find a strapless backless one but you can buy bra extenders which basically clip onto one side of the back of the bra (hook and eye bits) then you wrap it around your waist and clip it to the other side of the hook and eye. Then you can pull it down so the back of the bra is really low. These aren't the best if you have a bit of back fat though as they can squeeze it and make it look worse.
I'd say get a seamstress to cut up an old bra that fits you and sew that into the front of the dress. X

I bought a bra from boux avenue but it felt uncomfortable under my dress so seamstress is sewing in gel cups into my dress and it's so much more comfortable and gives same effect x

I was exactly the same I never don't wear a bra. But when I was bridesmaid for my sister I was 18 weeks pregnant and could not breathe in my dress so didn't end up wearing my bra. I'm not bothering wearing one for my wedding and the dress supports me nicely xx

I really suggest you go without the bra. I have a mesh strap backless one too. I am a 36DD - E and am going without. Most bras that are strapless low back bras actually get in the way/make you boobs flatter or can even drag them down in the case of low back bras. I tried my dress on again yesterday with and without a bra and it was MUCH better without. The seamstress is just going to sew in a little more support. Many dresses are designed to be worn without! If you really want one, M&S and Debenhams both sell them up to 38D/DD sizes. As do Figleaves online.

I would highly recommend going without a bra. Wedding dresses are not like our normal clothes; they are structured to support you. I'm a 36gg and I didn't wear a bra with my dress. I felt supported all day.

When I bought my dress the lady there told me most dresses are design to be worn without a bra, I won't be wearing one on my wedding day. If you really feel you want to wear one then have a look at proper bridal lingerie as they should be designed to be worn under dresses x

Speak to your seamstress, they should be able to sew one into the dress.

Victoria Secrets do some basic strapless bras, they can be pricey (mine was £48) but it gives me a lovely shape in my dress, which I could have gone bra less in but I just don't feel comfortable with out one!

My wedding shop were fab, I don't need a bra for my dress, it fits perfectly enough to not need one. They also said they could sew a bra in for me! I'm a 34G so they aren't on the small side either
I can't show you a picture as I've not got married yet!

Try these really cheap and can be reused. I'm planning on having a backless dress and will be using these :) http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Women-Invisible-Bra-Silicone-Gel-Strapless-Backless-Adhesive-Stick-On-Push-Up-/230974881194?nav=SEARCH

I bought a low back bra but took it off after the ceremony. I was much more comfortable without it and felt that the support in my dress was enough! Try the dress on without the bra and see how it feels!
