If you're religious I'd say church - if you're not then a Manor House.

Depends if you are religious or not. Church wasn't an option for us as I am an atheist
Churches are pretty but I think it should only be for those who are genuinely religious. Manor house sounds lovely too.

I would go Manor House but I'm not religious at all.

It is entirely your choice, look in to the two different ceremonies, a religious ceremony is very different to one conducted by a registrar. The vicar will do religious readings etc during your ceremony and talk (possibly a lot). A registrar will conduct a ceremony that you get to choose the wording for and leave all readings/ talking to people of your choosing. I have had both and tbh although I am religious, my ceremony conducted by the registrar was so much more centred around myself and hubby! Also depends if your partner is religious too! X

It is completely up to you and your partner. I am getting married in a castle because that is what we wanted. Have a looooong think and chat with h2b and see what you prefer x

It should be what you want not what others think. Especially when your asking complete strangers who won't even be there. I'd say go with whatever yourself and your h2b would like.

Depends on what you want not what anyone else thinks. I wasn't interested in a church at all, as I'm not religious so don't see the point.. But I know loads of people would only want a traditional church ceremony..

I think it should be what YOU GUYS want, not the ukbride community !

I think if you even have to ask it's manor house. Getting married in the church isn't a fashion statement or for wows it's because you couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. It's not being able to not get married without the religious connection. No one else can answer you that. It's whether you have the connection with the church or whether you don't have those beliefs

I think if you're asking then it has to be a Manor House. I believe church should only be for those who are religious and for those that a religious ceremony has a deep meaning. There's nothing wrong with a civil ceremony. It's just as beautiful xx

Choose a Celebrant led wedding then you can also have religion in your ceremony at the Manor House , best of both worlds x

Im not religious in the slightest but for us we chose the church. Our boy was christened there and even though we aint religious, we love our church & vicar. Hes so down to earth and has welcomed up with open arms even though he knows we don't go to church every sunday. Ive been to weddings in both places and both are as beautiful as the other. Its whatever you like best.

What do you and your H2B want???
It's your decision, so make it with the one that matters!

It doesn't really matter what others think it's down to what you both want x

I love the idea of a Manor House as it's much more personal but it's cheaper to get married in church! I am still trying to decide! For me it's all about the cost! X
