Has anyone else gone to pick up their wedding dress and then realised they really don't like it. I am gutted, but wonder if anyone has ever been able to return it or where they can sell them? Any help would be great!

There are many Facebook groups that sell your wedding dress for you. Hope that helps?

Is it worth meeting with a seamstress before doing that? They are amazing at making small changes that can make the difference of you loving it again because it has been completely personalised for you. Will save you a lot of money being thrown away x

My dress was the wrong colour .. I asked for white and I got ivory .. it was end of line and even though I ordered it almost 2 years before the wedding it didn't come in to the shop til 2 months before the wedding so it was too late to change it and the shop refused to accept that they made a mistake and I felt like my day was going to be ruined ... but it was still the best day of my life...

I've been trying to sell mine for a while now as it can't be altered after a major weight loss (I'm talking over 40% of my initial body weight and about 8 dress sizes... so no a seamstress will not be able to do it) and even after dropping the price as much as I can bear to to get a replacement I still can't budge it.

Don't do it! You picked it for a reason. I had a wobbly over my dress and when I tried it on after being altered I loved it! X

Thanks for all your comments, I have now bought another dress, so looking to sell this one as the shop wont take it back,. I don't think a seamstress could even make me feel WOW in it, I felt old, not special and dull in it. Onto selling sites now!!! :s

Happened to me but fortunately I was able to exchange it and the one I have now is gorgeous! This was Wed2Be though so different to a bridal boutique where they order it in for you.
