Fun ideas for filling the gap between the wedding breakfast and evening reception?

I'm a photographer with a photo booth. I've found having it set up during the turnover time goes down really well. Kids especially enjoy it as it's a long day for some of them x
We're having owls & an eagle come (owls also giving us our rings) & they interact with the kids.. adults can hold them and let them fly etc. Very excited x
we had a ice cream van come so everyone could have a ice cream also got guest to take pictures of us in it :) x
You might be surprised how little a gap there will end up being. However, I would suggest you and your groom taking just 15 mins by yourselves to sit down and think about what's happened so far. For your guests, some may enjoy the chance of a little Nanna nap, to freshen up, continue drinking and chatting in the bar. Alternatively, you can get these casino things in or some giant outdoor games, depending on the time of year (the outdoor games could also be for your guests whilst having photos before the wedding breakfast). Good luck!

We had a casino it went down great!
We had singing waiters they were amazing, very fun and all of my guests absolutely loved them x
How about a magician? Live music? caricature? Lawn games?
You'd be surprised how little people need to have a good time - for the most part ours were drinking, chatting and getting along famously by themselves. We had a small stretch marquee outside at ours with a bouncy castle next to it (best idea ever, it was a hit) and a whiskey bar as my husband loves whiskey. A few lawn games always livens up things but don't feel like you have to have constant entertainment if you don't want to!
We didn't have any time between ours and we sat down at 330. Our evening guests were arriving while they were turning the room around after the meal.
We have an ice cream man and lawn games...
We're getting married in December and have hired santa to come and visit in the gap, and will be an incentive for the kids to behave during the speeches and meal!
We have out door games and a caricaturist thinking about a bouncy castle for the kids if weather is good x
There will be such little time once you've had all your photographs taken you really won't need anything to fill the time!
We had a photo booth and sweet cart but only had these in the evenings
I just went to the £1 shop and bought a football, rounders bats and frisbees etc spent about £5 everyone loved it and it was lovely to see my family vs hubbys family playing rounders even my 72 year old Nan joined in and had a fab time! X
