We want to get married by 2019 but we're on such a tight budget and I can't have what I want for our budget, do we wait longer or do I just get as close to what I want as I can?

I would wait Hun, at least then you can have the day the way you want it, there is no rush so take your time and save for the luxuries you really want :)

I would wait because you will always be thinking wish I had done this and that.

We are on a tight budget too and have managed to do 2019.. can still have a look and talk to your choices and see about deals etc we have managed to save sooo much money by booking so far in advanced.. we noticed prices seem to go up and a lot of things only require a small deposit to book as well so feeling more in control as we know how much we need to cost/spend.. also looked into doing stuff I can myself and saving moneys that way and is helping add more personal touches and getting what we want.. wedding fairs are great too especially if at your venue choice as they will do on the day deal bookings.: we even won competition at fair so got some free entertainment too is not harm looking we wanted sooner but went for the longer approach so 3 years in total to our big day from when we got engaged.. or aim for later in the year 2019 gives you longer too xx

Whatever you choose is right for you ....if you do it sooner ask friends to bring a bring & share , book a village hall, or pub , look online PreLoved for folks giving away wedding dresses for free , set up Facebook page for folks to donate their time & skills , folks who can bake a cake , do flowers , look at college students for photography, florist , hair & make up.......
Or if you wait for later when booking a venue ENSURE you get the price in writing so it can't go up & make sure the price Includes VAT so no nasty surprises .....

It will be four years that we have waited to tie the knot, but it should be worth it
