Any person u want in your bridal party you should pay for
It's up to you and your circumstances. I know some people who have asked the flower girls parents to pay, but for ours we or our own parents have covered the cost. I think personally anyone that you have asked to be part of your wedding bridal party, should not have to pay for outfits especially children.
If you are worried about spiraling costs, you could ask if they would buy them instead of a wedding gift for you!
But if you do this don't choose an expensive option for the outfit, that wouldn't be at all fair!
As I agree with what Nicola said, personally, if you've asked for them to be part of your wedding, you should pay! Ours were budgeted for from the beginning!
I'm paying for my 2 little page boys outfits, same as were paying for all the bridal party outfits, we wanted them to be in the bridal party so were paying, simple xx
If you want a specific outfit for them then you should pay. X
If you've asked them to be a part of it you have to pay, it's not for other people to pay for your decisions
It's different in each situation, although it would normally be the bride and groom who pay for the outfits if your limited on budget you can ask for a contribution or the parents to pay for the whole thing. If your worried about the costs have a shop around first then decide, maybe offer to buy their outfits and parents pay for shoes.
