I have only been engaged for about 4 days and this is all so new to me - Me and my fiance have decided not to plan or book anything until after we have had a engagement party (small gathering at a pub) just so we can enjoy being engaged for abit. However, where do I start? What should I think about doing first when the time comes?

Hi nicola.we booked the wedding ceremony first. Then we booked the reception. After.Then I started looking for my dress. And invitations. Just booked a photographer. First off we looked at how many people we like the idea of. Second booked the venue (having an all in one place) then the photographer as these are the biggest on off payments. Next it comes down to preference. Lucky for us the venue includes catering and a lot of decoration and the like so the more bitty parts will get left for a while.
