When's a good time of the year to get married? I'm not looking to book a summer wedding really. I quite like the idea of a March/April spring, crisp wedding (I imagine it's cheaper as well?!). Has anyone got married in Autumn/Winter time? If so would you recommend it or am I wrong for cancelling Summer Wedding out? xx

My sister got married midway through August in bright sunshine. However, the very day before it rained torrentially all day! So it's a complete lottery in this country! At least in winter / spring / autumn you're not going be down about the weather as anything other than rain will be a bonus! x

I am getting married in September... thought it would be a nice change from the typical summer months... and being hopefully that the weather stays well.

my wedding is booked for september - it's outside of peak season and a lot cheaper, also easier to book suppliers as less demand x
