Hey just wanted to know if anyone has been married and had a 5 year old and...

Obviously it's how you want to do it. I personally would say they may enjoy getting ready with the guys instead of the girls. My boys were about the same age and loved the boys house x

I left the kids with my other half and then had them come after breakfast to the hotel to get ready as my eldest gave me away and the other 2 were bridesmaids

My son and nephew stayed with the grooms party and my niece stayed with the bridal party ☺️ x

We had a nearly 3 year old ans she stayed with me N my mum the night before and then went over to dad in the morning while the girls got ready xxx

I had a 3 year old and a 3 month old. My 3 year old daughter stayed with me at the hotel and my 3 month old son stayed with my husband at home x

My son was 3 and he stayed and got ready with his Dad. My niece was 6 and she got ready with me and the girls.

I have a 5yo 2yo and 13 week old and they are staying in my room on the night before then the oldest is going to go into my partners room to get ready with him

I have 6 yr old & 2 yr old when I got married nearly 7 yr ago.
I slept at the Hotel the night before the wedding, with my family (grandparents, Aunt etc) the kids stayed with me, but as the evening got late on my cousins took it in turn to sit in my room with the kids, whilst they slept & I enjoyed some time with my family at the hotel bar.
I'm the morning I woke & bathed the kids & family got them ready whilst I got ready. It was absolutely fine, no stress & had plenty of help with the kids.

I had a 4 year old boy, 2 year old girl and 12 year old boy when I got married. The little ones were with me at the hotel as my daughter was a flower girl and little boy was a page boy so they were both their to walk down the aisle. My eldest however was treated as an usher so he stayed with my husband the night before and went to the ceremony with him.

You could ask who they'd like to get ready with. They may want to go with Dad, and if you are going to have them walk down the isle too, you could always ask the best man to bring them to join you and the bridal party once they are ready. :-)

I had a 3 year old at my wedding i stayed at home and my husband stayed at his mams with our son so he was like one of the boys. He loved it and got to come in the car to the wedding with his dad x

We had a 7, 5 and nearly 3 Yr old when we got married - my husband stayed with his best man and the kids stayed with me - we all got ready together and they went to church/venue with grandparents and aunts (bridesmaids) in the hire car. On the night of the wedding we paid for a babysitter (a girl from youngest nursery) to look after them which they loved!

My cousins kids were in the hotel but in Grannies room

We had a 3 year old girl when we got married, as everyone stayed at the hotel the night before dinner and drinks all together and then she stayed with grandparents in the evening and spent the morning with playing with her cousin and they were looked after by different family members as each got ready, then into my room for the last preparation for the ceremony.

Iv got my 3 year old daughter with me at the hotel the night before as she is my flower girl, hoping ot goes ahead in June but dont know with all the restrictions

My son was 3 and was with me and the girls as him and my nephew where the pageboy and walked down the aisle before the bridesmaids x

The night od the wedding he stayed with my maid if honour who is also my sister x

My daughters stayed with me and our sons stayed with him. Then my mum went and collected the boys so they could get ready with us. It was lovely <3

My step son was 9 when we got married and he stayed the night before with his Dad and had a boy's night with his Dad and Granda but it would be completely up to you!

My husband to be and I had a 2 year old and she stayed in the hotel the night before with my parents so that me and my husband to be could have a good nights sleep and then we all stayed in the hotel on our wedding night and again she stayed in my parents room. My parents and grandparents worked together to get her ready on the day and keep her entertained whilst everyone else got ready. She fell asleep just before the ceremony at 4pm slept through it then enjoyed the evening meal, party and dancing.

We have an 8 yr old son, who will be 9 when we get married. I’m staying the night before our wedding in a hotel and our son is staying at home with his dad.

Mine were with nanny in their motor home next to the hotel.
