Colour theme calamity

I’m having trouble finding things to match the same hue of my colour theme ???? I found my partners tie and pocket squares in the shade I want but I can’t find bridesmaid dresses!

Could you dye them? I find blue is a hard colour, as there are many shades, some are too muted and some are too dark.

I would say that the bridesmaids dress is more important than tie or handkerchief generally, can you look for a slightly different shade of blue for the dresses? Or bring the colour in with flowers or accessories?

Have you tried JJ’s House? they have a huge colour scheme with matching accessories.

If you can’t find a colour to match exactly, then I’d go with a colour that compliments your colour theme. Sometimes that can look nicer than matching everything xx

Dessy is the best place for dresses. So so so many colours. Otherwise go for a contrasting colour, they don't have to match x

I would match the ties to the dresses and not the other way around. If its slightly off I doubt anyone would notice as they won't be right next to each other. X

I got my bridesmaids dresses off asos, they have a wide range of colours and styles

I’d get the dresses first then match the ties as you could always order the same colour fabric as your dresses and have your ties made cheaply enough

'JJ House' and 'For Her and For Him' make dresses and ties in the same material so you can match 😊 I've managed to find an identical colour (celadon/sage green) so my bridesmaids and bridesmen can match

JJs house and Babaroni both do so many dresses in about 70 different colours, try them but if not go for a shade that compliments other colour x

I'm looking at jjshouse for mine. They will do exact match waistcoats, pocket squares and ties to dresses

Dyeing is tricky, and you may wreck the dress. I do costume design and bridal and I won't try it and less you want sort of a tie dyed look. If you want to do an easier DIY, since you can get the pocket squares and things that you want here is a suggestion: get complimentary bridesmaid gowns and have somebody that's good at sewing use the pocket squares for accents on the dresses. They're so keen and nice fabric and could easily be made in the rosettes, could be made into the strap, if they have a corset back could be made into to the lace that sense is it up, or a lot of other ideas. It doesn't have to work weird it could look very purposeful. let's say your colour that is perfect in the menswear is hunter green because men's were tends to have more of these dark colours. if you got the girls something neutral but the Africa they're showing you could easily use the pocket squares cut up and made into rosettes or a band trim or lots of different things. remember it's more accident up around the top closer to people's faces that will show in the photographs in in the same respect if things clash that were it's going to show. I believe you can still get shoes dyed to match perfectly so it's that important getting the decorations at the tab you could also have the shoes dyed to match at the bottom.

Thank you so much everyone, I will definitely have a look at the websites suggested. I thought about having two or three shades of the colour in the theme rather than trying to match everything to one!

I’ve been so excited and usually am super organised with everything I do so I thought i would be ok but I’m finding it all quite stressful lol
